Hey everyone, Been off the board a few months, lot going on that diverted my attention but ready to dedicate some time helping out on here again. Open for questions, comments, or feel free to give me a hard time for being a stranger on here lately. I look forward to seeing several of you in a few weeks for the craps game!
Thanks! - - - Updated - - - also, I'll be going through my inbox tonight as well, everyone should have replies by tomorrow unless I already replied via email
Glad to see you back Hunter. Thanks for all your help in the past. Sorry we have not had a chance to meet up the last few trips, But I'll be back in a few weeks.
When did CET make the change that check out day on a comp room counts as a gaming day? I used to be told that if I don't play after 6am, or generate a comp in a restaurant, check out day isn't a gaming day. So, a 4 night comp is now 5 gaming days. As a result, playing at the same level now reflects a lower ADT.
Maybe Hunter can help with the pre craps festivities? Hunter are you able to reserve some space at Ringers?
When I take a redeye, I keep the room for the day I leave. I'm now told that when I check out at 9:30 pm, the next day counts as a no play gaming day.
A gaming day is triggered if you are in-house and using your card either for lodging, gambling, or comps. The fact that it is a checkout day is normalized and doesn't matter. Everybody that stays at one of our properties checks out eventually unless they have some sort of ability to bend space and time and erase themselves from the history of the day. It is normalized in our calculations of value and taken into consideration when assigning a customer value. It is the same for every gaming company in town so it has absolutely zero effect on you. You aren't going to have a higher value at one company or another based on gaming days since everyone does it the same and it is also the same for every player. The only time a gaming day has an outside effect is if you use a comp or play outside of a lodging trip or use a benefit outside of a lodging trip, thereby triggering a gaming day.
In other words, like 99.999% of people that come here to gamble do not gamble the day they check out. That is taken into consideration. I wouldn't sweat the semantics of it so much and just enjoy gambling. Checkout day is an obvious factor in the equation that is addressed when creating values.
I don't care what mlife does. That's not what I'm asking. I'm a CET player. I'm trying to understand the change. If what I'm hearing is correct and you can confirm that. We both know that that not all hosts will give the same answer to all guests. I'm not pitting you against another host. My offers are down significantly. If I can tie that to a change in CET policy, I can understand why my offers are down.....my play over 4 days, is now calculated as being over 5 days......reducing my ADT.
in the 20-24 range..drinks and apps at 7-ish?...table time is 9pm email or text me if you need more Deets
Offers won't be affected because of a change in gaming day policy which has never changed. Offers are down for everybody past few quarters due to reasons (budgetary) other than gaming day policies, which again, haven't changed.
