Does anyone have (either saved to DVR or already burned to DVD) the full collection of the Travel Channel Las Vegas shows. These were the shows starring Anthony Curtis, Bob Dancer, Max Rubin, Richard Munchkin etc, and highlighted everything from value gaming to general tourism info (at places like the Stardust, Westward Ho, The Frontier, Sahara etc) I know that these shows have a loyal following by VMB members despite their age and cheese factor, so hopefully somebody out there has them saved.

These shows are really outdated, but part of my Vegas collection and pre trip itch medication. I unfortunately lost my collection due to a frozen DVR which I failed to backup to a hard drive, so any assistance would be appreciated. Of course, due to copyright laws, I can't reimburse you for the DVD itself, but I can certainly pay you for time and effort as well as postage. Here is a list of most of the shows:

“Top Ten Ways to Win in Vegas”
    “Vegas Do’s and Donts”
    “Vegas: Beating the Odds”
    “Las Vegas: Get Lucky”
    “Las Vegas: Sucker Bets”
    “Vegas Revealed”
    "Las Vegas FAQ's"
    "More Las Vegas FAQ's"
    “Getting Rich in Vegas”
    “Vegas Eats”
    “The Vegas Quiz”
    “The Player’s Guide to Vegas”
“Las Vegas: What Would You Do If…”
“Las Vegas: Best of the Best”
“Las Vegas: Gambling with the Pros”

    Thanks in advance, Nick:beer:

I don't remember which show but Max Rubin and Anthony Curtis went head to head on casino games and could not spend more than I think $100.

I have wanted a couple of shows on YouTube that I have no seen on TV.
A few years back the Travel Channel start some new Vegas shows as it included Aria so it couldn't have been too old.

Where are all the new Vegas shows? There always used to be some type of Vegas show on the Travel Channel; whether it be some repeat show on the Do's and Don'ts or some half scripted reality show on GVR ,the Nugget or rehab. They were all great to watch because it was Vegas. Now the only thing on are food shows. How about that cop show on the strip?

The GVR show was one of my favorites! I felt like it was pretty real (I'm sure there was some acting) but like you said - gave a pretty decent view of the behind-the-scenes.

Travel Channel used to be amazing in the Samantha brown era but now it seems to have lost its way and is a lot more dumb shows then anything good travel wise.

Only recent show I like of theirs was trip flip with that Burt guy

I really enjoyed the closed circuit Vegas programing in the 1990s played at most hotels. Half hour shows covered everything from Vegas atomic history, casinos, Vegas performers, and other great shows. Now, in room shows are limited to "shopping" videos on the "702", internal hotel offerings, and in a few casinos, a "how to gamble" series taped 10-20 years ago.

I know that this is an old post, but I was in the mood for these very shows. So I searched the web and 'BOOM' here we are! Any chance I can have the same offer?
    TIA

Holy cow the Imperial Palace in room TV in the early 90s was EPIC! It was just highlighting all the things to do in the hotel, but my sister and I were just teenagers stuck in the hotel room so we watched it on repeat!

way back when around the turn of the century the Travel Channel used to run those shows each January. I was usually feeling my post Vegas blues from my pre-Christmas trip, watching those shows always inspired me to book another trip... that's when I learned that the key to happiness is to always have a Vegas trip planned: dates, hotel, etc. no matter how far in advance!

I would love to watch (or rewatch) them.

How about uploading them to YouTube?
