Focus play on CET one day and Mlife the next?

Great board all! Made my first trip to Vegas in June, had a wedding to attend....had a great time in the town! Signed up for both TR and Mlife, we stayed at Bellagio for 5 nights, but seem to get much better room comp offers from TR now, even though we played very little at their casinos.
We booked 5 nights at Paris in Oct, all comped through the TR websight. Is that a normal thing, kinda a teaser offer to get you into that chain, or can we expect to get those sorts of offers going forward?
Anyway, last time was just a whirlwind of activity, just quickly checking things out, different casinos, play a bit here then move on......This time we also want to check out some off strip sites and more than just casinos as well.
Is it better to not play at all the days we tour around , to keep our daily average high, and focus our play on certain days....for example all play at CET one day, all play at Mlife places another day? Or, will it make any difference, since we have rooms at Paris they know we are there anyway. Not that we are big time gamblers(mostly slots and VP), but why not do what you can to better your numbers?

You are correct that your offers from TR/CET may be teaser offers; that said, in order to get a full 5 nights comped at Paris, your play level had to be pretty decent. But yes, they want to get you back in there and then they will see what you do.

Since CET knows you're there for 5 nights, all 5/6 days are going to count in the calculation of your daily average. You don't have to play at Paris exclusively, but, depending on your bankroll and personal daily loss limit, it may behoove you to play only at TR properties on those days. TR is going to be looking for some number in terms of theoretical loss for you to hit over those days, they don't care if you do it in one day or take all 6.

I'm not that much of a casino hopper anyway, but on any given portion of a stay, I only play at the properties of the chain I'm staying at, because that's what my bankroll permits. To spread my play around different chains would just dilute my average everywhere I played on those days.

As most report here, CET will give out return rooms quickly. They have lots of rooms and will take a chance getting you and your money back in there.
    MGM is a bit tighter.

As to alternating days - it probably will not matter much. CET does use average DAYS, but since are there, even your zero days should count (via the room comp). Mlife will rate you the same if 1 day or 3 days. In any event, spreaking play between them will result in a lower average at each.

chuck2009x provides good advice. As he stated, a lot depends on what your bankroll permits, where you prefer to gamble, and the type of games you play. CET traditionally gives better comp's to Slot machine and video poker players. So if those are the types of games you enjoy, and you enjoy the CET properties on the strip, you should do the majority of your gambling there. If you are more of a table game player, mlife will probably provide you with more accurate comps for your gambling on those types of games. If you have a large enough bankroll, then yes, play at both properties and you likely will have free rooms in the future at both companies.

Now, having said that, if your bankroll is small, then I would recommend just gambling where you want and not worry about the comps at all, just have fun!

My strategy when staying at CET is to have one day I give them almost exclusively (usually check in) and then have a minimum that I make sure I hit on subsequent days. That lets me play around and not feel trapped if I am not having fun in their joints. I would rather let them know what they can expect from me than chase after a carrot. Do I get five nights at Paris? No, but I play penny slots with small bets so devoting every cent to them may not make a difference to for me. In your case, if you spread you play, it may be more a case of whether you get five nights or five nights with extras.

you cant compare a cet comp at paris and mlife comp at bellagio,

i would get 5 nites in row even ceasars as a low gold for years, cet just gives free rooms away thats there marketing startegy.

my fiend who basily never spent a cent on gambling at cet signed up for the card becuase i told him too a couplears ago, he was comp at rio for wsop nite and thats why he was in town

cet free rooms no host need , mlife nicer place more free shows and ec comps no taking rc credits first wich i love, just depend on your level of play and what your looking for.

for alot 5 free nites no strings attached are fine

im at both but mlife give 20 times more for my value.

what i used to love about cet was free nite club being diamond but that now worthless as a local i get way more perks than being a diamond at cet, that why i never gambled a cent at cromwell
