I have always wanted to do Vegas for the first week of the NFL season. Thinking of a 10th to 17th trip. A 7 day job.......Anybody heading out for opening week this year?

My way too early initial leans are my Packers (homer pick, I'd take them even if favored by 30), Chargers, Dolphins, Bills, and Jets.

I have done it many times but in October, however, being from the East Coast I just cannot get used to football @ 10am.

Going to be in town for opening weekend and looking forward to it...going to be my first time being there for opening weekend. Staying at the Westgate for the Superbook and hoping that the Dolphins -3.5 line doesn't move too much on me between now and then...I mean Washington is going to be terribad, right?

I smell a rat here - Miami seems like too obvious of a play

We are doing our annual Westgate group viewing. Unfortunately for me I'm with 5 other Wisconsinites who are Packer haters! I'm liking it if it stays 6 and a half.

Doing second annual NFL kickoff weekend with Jimboguy and Bungadin. Plan is to watch early Sunday games at Plaza sportsbook and either stay there or move to the new DTG patio book for afternoon games, with SNF and MNF tentatively scheduled for Triple 7. Come say hi or to watch with us if you're downtown with no other plans. I've got Tapatalk and will keep an eye on it for PMs.

simonay, I may be hitting up the Cosmo for lunch at Wicked Spoon on Monday, it's been too long since I've been and it'll give me an excuse to see the strip for a bit.
mjames1229, hope to at least get to say hi around the DTG, thanks for keeping up with all their news items in the other threads, was very helpful in assuaging my fears.

Kinda think the same thing on Miami but this past weekend Duke was a -9.5 over Tulane and it went DOWN to -7.5. To me it looked cheap at -9.5 then when it went down I was stumped as to why it went lower.. Glad I stuck with it. Duke won by 30.

Guess what I'm saying is sometimes they do make bad lines-so you never know.
