Gone with the wind... as many of the better rewards have been removed over the past year or so... we all knew it was coming and it has been sold out forever.. but I'm always surprised when the rewards first disappear.. I actually got it last week but told me I had reached my limit... having used it in April, but I guess I was a little surprised to see that it had disappeared... Perhaps they will come back with a $25 credit for the same amount of lps as the $50?

All I can do anymore is laugh as the quality of the rewards tumble downhill. It does no good to get worked up about it.

In regards to that reward, I was surprised to see it hang around as long as it did. $50 of grub with no required spend upfront? For 50,000 LPs that was a STEAL. If they bring it back I imagine it will cost six figures worth of LP. (But who am I kidding? No way that thing comes back haha)

I saw that, too, Tweetz, when I was trying to figure out what I might do with my LPs. That reward wasn't in my plans til I read there wasn't a major catch. Oh well, it sucks, but as long as some of the regular rewards don't disappear in the next four, five months I'll survive. And yeah, Stinger, at this point it's not even worth getting worked up over.

Rewards sometimes disappear then come back as a new batch. Usually something will change about it, terms, lps, etc. I can only hope this is the case!!

    It could come back.

If it did come back, it would likely require more LPs, but honestly I'd pay 200,000 LPs for it.

It will still sell out in 3 minutes flat tho.

I have 450k gold and am really struggling to find something of value. I can't use the FreePlay since I'll be booked on a comp w/ Freeplay. Almost all of the buffets are Mon-Thurs and we get it Thursday afternoon.

I enjoy playing the game but its really, really gone downhill.

bjpcyclone, where are you staying? the Mirage has a couple of BOGOs that are pretty good.. we did the one at and it was a great dinner! That's 9K and at Portafina in the Mirage. The Deli there has a BOGO and there's the free cheesecake reward. Wolfgang Puck has some BOGO's that are decent. MGM buffets currently have no daily limits... PM me and I can tell you about many rewards we've used in the past. Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay is still there too and that is under the House of Blues, that also has some decent rewards left.

What's annoying for me personally is, i thought I saw it open after i bought the Aria 2 lunch buffets yesterday. That basically broke me in terms of LPs (I've really slacked on playing lately), and by the time i could tell my gf to buy it on her account, it was gone. :( if i knew it would be gone for good, I probably would have refunded Aria yesterday. But even if i did that, it was probably too late.

Oh well. The major reason i wanted it was being able to spend 50k LPs on one decent award. But yeah, most awards outside of cirque are bad now. And free rooms if you can get one. We are staying at the MGM Grand the only two nights they are offering a comp room this month. Ridiculous.

I have over 725K and have no idea what to spend it on anymore. I'm more pissed at the 1 night rule for all MGM properties. They should have an option where you can pay a big premium in order to get the rewards we all want. Let's say 1 night is 50k, 2 nights is 200k, 3 nights is 400k, etc...

Last time we stayed at Bellagio in June we had comp room, some freeplay and some birthday free play and they still let us use the myvegas $50 freeplay.

I have over 1M and since I don't need rooms I don't see anything else I want. Oh well, I'm done with the game.

Use them for Red Rock rooms, Midweek, No resort fee. I got mine for 150,000 a night. No resort fee. Expensive, but still, this is Red Rock free rooms with no obligation to gamble.
This is a place with one of the highest resort fees in Vegas.
This is one of the top 10 casino resorts in America
    http://lasvegassun.com/vegasdeluxe/2015/jul/15/red-rock-resort-makes-usa-today-top-10-list-best-/

What it meant for me was renting a car to hike the canyon for three days in a row and then drive to Laughlin for 3 nights at Pioneer ($86 total) from where I'll feed burros at Oatman, see the new found art at Cholide, and visit the new (for me) renovation at Hoover Dam.

And while at Red Rock I'll also have free buffets. Stations is still a liberal user of MyVegas.
In the same trip i'll have one free night at Excalibur, two free buffets at Aria.

They changed the Red Rock and GVR room rewards - limit 1 per person (I think all Station room rewards now carry this restriction), and the reward now costs 45,000 instead of 150,000.

I have over a million gold and I'm staying downtown in january. IF I can get a free room somewhere I'll take it just to take it but the lack of quality awards is disheartening. I dont see any conceiveable way i can use all these points.

Maybe the best option to use points is to go to London. That new one seems to have some nice rewards. Lets see how long those last :)

I got the best 3 rewards for my next trip (10/1) and I have 270 LPs left. Can't tell you how good it feels to get those used up. The rewards I got were below average, at best....

Hanging up the game after that?

I've sure as hell scaled back. Playing blackjack seems like a chore...I still need to earn about 15k more LPs. :(

I don't think I will give up the game. It's WAY too easy to collect and let it run in the background at work. I put it on that game where you can run through 500 spins without having to do anything. After this October 2015, my next trip isn't til July 2016, so I will restock.

Really sorry to see this reward gone. We just used it on Wednesday at the Pub - it was our last meal before we went to the airport. Used it during Happy Hour and we had plenty to eat and drink before our flight including dessert.

Thats EXACTLY what we will be doing after labour day weekend :) My wife and I both nabbed the $50 credits before they disappeared. I remember when that reward used to be 35k points! One time, a group of 12 of us went each with those rewards as well as the $100 duelling piano comp. We were all pretty hammered at the end... we didn't even use all the credits! Some of them were returned and we had left with two buckets of beer!! lol..

Now I have 1.5 mil LP left and trying to decide what my last comp will be for this trip. Sadly not much interests me. Perhaps whiskey tasting, that was okay the last time we did it.
