Along the strip, tell me about some secret/special drinks to any particular bar where you like to play VP.

If it is neither a secret, nor a particular house specialty, but you think a particular bar/casino has the best *whatever* drink, feel free to mention that as well.
    Examples:
Bellagio has a signature cocktail that I've tried. It was good, but a little too sweet for me.
A bored waitress in Cosmo high limit made us frozen strawberry margaritas.
I know quite a few here on the board get vespers at Cosmo.
Pretty much anything from Whiskey Down at MGM is great.

    And...go

Thanks GChrome. I always forget about that one! I think my wife would love it based on the ingredients, except for the lemongrass syrup. How strong does the lemongrass flavor come through?

The Peppermill, try their scorpion - 64oz signature cocktail.

    Probably not comped...but really good.

Haha, don't worry about the flavor of the actual drink, just make sure you chew the flower bud thoroughly.

Whiskey Down - Fire in the Hole

It is still on their online menu but won't show up on any of the menus at the bar. Not all the bartenders know that they can still make it but they keep the Greg Goose hidden under one of the bars.

    Fire in the Hole
Grey Goose La Poire, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey,
Fresh Lemon Juice, Rock Candy Syrup

That sounds...rather awful! I imagine you need a few shots of tequila before and after? Have you done it?

It is very good and goes down way too quickly. Watch out, they will catch you off guard. :)
