i'm a tad confused by some other posts i have read. i have redeemed three rewards for my upcoming trip, 2 from Monte Carlo and 1 from aria.

in addition to these three rewards, can i also redeem station rewards?

thanks for any input you can provide.

Yes, those are not included as part of the three.

Yes, 3 MGM rewards and 2 Stations rewards per 24 hour period. You can also get Wolfgang Puck, Monorail, House of Blues and Hexx rewards that are separate from the MGM awards.

Some good value Station Rewards considering how many you could use over a 7 day trip with no reward limits

Sorry to be a noob, but can somebody explain where about the station casinos are located in relation to the strip? How easy are they to get to from the strip?

Red Rock is about 30 minutes west of the strip (via car). GVR is about 20 minutes south east of the strip (via car) and Sunset Station is a few minutes east of that (in Henderson). Santa Fe Station is pretty far north I think, but I'm not sure exactly, as I've never been to that one.

Palace Station is the only one close to the strip at all. You can cab it or there's a shuttle to and from the Fashion Show Mall (across from Wynn) that runs every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If you have a car, it's pretty close, on Sahara just west of the 15. It's a few blocks west of the SLS/North Strip area. They're long blocks though, so I don't think you'd want to walk.

You might be able to take a bus, I don't know which ones to recommend though, since we usually have a car in Vegas and just drive there.

so let me ask another question, I see that there is a $30 dining credit at both GVR and Red Rock. Are there any restaurants you would recommend at either of those properties? Not a huge buffet guy but would I be better of getting buffets at either of those places?

I've never been to GVR, would like to see it. on the other hand, if I'm going to drive out to Red Rock I might as well take advantage of a canyon hike while I'm out there.

I'm finding several non gaming things I would like to do this trip, guess i'll be up late each night after my wife has went to sleep to get my gamble on.

Yes Correct so could potentially use 14 in a week compared to MGM 3 per 30 days

Take note that it is $30 off $60+ spent.

Yes, but I think there is a limit of 3 of each reward per account. So once you used 3 room rewards at GVR (for example), then you couldn't redeem that reward again at all. I'm assuming they reset with new batches, like MLife rewards do, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Perhaps someone with more experience re: Station rewards can chime in.

Doubt you can find 14 to use in a week unless you go to separate stations. Rooms are 3 per person. Calendar is out through December. So new room calendar will not be out for awhile. Technically if 2 of you redeeming it would be possible to get 28 in a week, but really not worth it unless you were visiting them all. For our 3 day stay: 3 nights room, 3 buffets, 3 beers, 3 margaritas.
Nothing worth while unless you can combine the $30 Hanks for $60 off $120 for 2 people. If combining it could be possible to get 5 nights(Can't use Fri and Sat) if there were rooms available.

From where? The strip? Assuming you're at SLS (the closest strip hotel to PS) it's probably a 20 minute walk west on Sahara. I've never walked it, but that's my guess. The area isn't great, but not awful. You will have to go under I-15 too. It's about a 3-5 minute drive. If you don't have a car but really want to go to PS, I'd seriously consider looking at a bus schedule, take a cab or use the shuttle from the Fashion Show mall. Just my 2 cents.
