What do you take to the pool with you?

I don't know if we will be getting a daybed yet (depends on the price when we get there), and I am wondering what other people bring to the pool with them. Do you bring money? Room card (obviously, to get in)? Cell Phone? Camera? Magazines?

How do you charge things to your room? Do you need ID for that or do they scan your room key?

I don't get out much, in case that wasn't totally obvious by this post.

We don't hang out by the pool for hours, so I usually don't bring much with us: room key, sunscreen, lip butter and cigarettes and maybe a magazine. If we lose any of those items: no big problem, we can easily replace them. I wouldn't bring my phone or camera with me, I wouldn't feel relaxed going for a swim and leaving those things on/under/by my lounge chair.

I bring a small duffel bag. Contents are below:

    > Room key.
    > Sunglasses in case
    > Magazine
    > Beach towel ( I prefer my own. I like to have a little style at the pool.)
    > Sun tan spray
    > Watch. This is a must for me. No clocks anywhere in Las Vegas
    > Sometimes bottled water. If it is too hot I might not. When it is really hot it takes about 5 minutes for the water to become too warm and undrinkable.
    > ID. I am not certain but I believe at some pools when ordering food or beverage and charging it to the room an ID is required.
    > Small amount of cash for when ordering food to tip the server.

A bag with sunglasses, ID, cc, cash, room key and phone. We usually end up ordering at least a bucket of beer, so the cc or cash may be necessary if we don't charge it back to the room. To charge to your room you just sign the receipt and write your room number and hotel (because you can charge back to the room across hotels w/in the same group) on the lines provided.
