Looking for a late night steak and eggs special, close to Flamingo.

    A couple of questions:

    1) What is steak and eggs? is it a ham steak or beef steak?

    2) Who has this special close to the Flamingo and what's the price?

To answer A, steak and eggs means beef. Late nite ham and eggs is a category of its own. I've lost track of who has what where on the strip.

Last time I was there - which was almost 2 years ago ;( the closest to the strip that I found the late night steak and eggs was at Ellis Island - which is a block behind Bally's on Koval (I think) which if off of Flamingo - so pretty close to the Flamingo too. It was very good and reasonable - I believe about 7.00. Don't know if they still do this and if they do what the current price is - hopefully someone will see this that has been lately. I go back in August and will be checking it out then.

12 years ago, the late night steak and eggs specials were all over the place for really cheap prices. Today, they are rare.

Just about any hotel that still has a 'cafe' will have steak and eggs. Don't know of many outside Ellis Island that have a deal on them anymore. I think the Palms does if you are shuttle to the Rio/Palms/Gold Coast area (Rio and GC both have strip shuttles), although if you are getting a graveyard special it could be past operating hours.

Stations casinos have them, but are not that convenient to get to.

Ellis Island for me as well.

Great value for the money and a visit to Vegas wouldn't be complete for me personally unless I eat there.

Plus a couple of pick me up drinks always go down well!

Graveyard steak and eggs near The Flamingo, Tuscany $6 Ellis island $9 Hardrock $7.77 Silver Sevens $6, Ellis Island and Hardrock are off menu specials you have to request. The only one I've had is Ellis Island, and it wasn't worth the money, I haven't had a good meal since the remodel.

Loved the steak and eggs at Ellis Island! OK, that was overstating, but it was decent, especially for the price. Coffee was $1.75 also when I was there in March.
