I'm staying at the Aria next week (as the countdown shows) and I figured I'd set up a line of credit to make things more simple. But, it looks like it may have the opposite effect. While I like to move around casinos, it turns out my line of credit is only good at Aria. I called and asked about getting an identical line at Bellagio, so I can at least play there at well. But, I may decide to wander over to MGM-Grand or Mandalay Bay. Does anybody have experience moving around with a line of credit? I'll probably just play Sigma Derby at MGM, but I don't like the idea of being stuck at one place.

I had to open separate lines of credit at MGM Grand and Mirage. They are not transferable.

Once you get a credit line established at an MLife property, it only takes 30 minutes to open a credit line at a sister property.

If you like to bounce around CL probably isn't for you.

But you don't need a a CL to play sigma derby.

Yeah, I'm beginning to suspect that. I did something similar the last time I was in Vegas that let me bounce around, I'll have to find a better solution for next time.

Be careful setting up too many lines too quickly. I believe the rule is 4 in 14. If you setup 4 lines in 14 days it will throw up a red flag.

I have a credit line at Caesars, Paris, and PH. But I typically only get a marker at one, maybe two places, during any one trip. I pay back the marker before I leave, so I don't want to go to multiple places at the end of my trip. But I have had those CLs for a few years, so every time I go back, I just get the marker from the place that I stay.

If you do end your trip with multiple outstanding markers at different properties you can pay them at one property. You do not need to travel to the other properties to pay them off. The cage will handle that for you.

That's good to know. I thought since the credit lines were different, you had to go to the actual casino, especially since they give you back the markers you signed at that casino.

It will be a red flag in the system with Central Credit. When a casino contacts Central to get your file they will be notified you are 4 in 14. As a general rule if you apply for 4 in 14 you will get denied for credit.

Not to hijack the thread but related. I'm staying at the Mirage this trip. I have my cash to play there.
My Casino credit is set up at CET Flamingo. Do they care if I get markers to play there while not staying on the property?
Also can I get markers at other Ceasers property's?

If you're not playing at another CET property (Mirage is mLife), this might cause an issue. What CET will look at is how much "action" you're giving to CET. If they don't see action that matches the marker that you took, they may deposit the check immediately.

I ran into this in reverse at MGM Grand. I took out a marker and didn't put in enough play before I left. I got a call from my host asking why, saying that the cage had "flagged me". I told that I was called away for an emergency and didn't have a chance to pay back the marker first. I told her that would send in a check ASAP (which I did).

AFAIK, you cannot get cash at another CET property other than the one where you have the marker.

You absolutely can get markers and play there when not staying at their property. If you get markers and dont play there then it would be an issue.

You can only get markers at the property which your credit line is setup. If you know you will be playing at another Caesars property they can usually setup credit for you within an hour or so.

Sorry, I didn't read the question closely enough.

Ditto what ScottinIndy said. You can take cash at Flamingo as long as you play at Flamingo.
