    My Trip Report

    54 hrs round trip driving/fishing/gambling/Indians, Rock & Roll H of F

This is going to be a little different of a trip report than my last one. This TR will have a gambling component, but it will be far from the focus. This is a family

trip back to PA to visit family. We will be leaving around 3 pm tomorrow afternoon and will be on the road for 27 straight hours until we arrive at my parents house

around 6 pm on Thursday. I know, to most it sounds like torture and if it were up to me we would be flying. My wife and especially the kids love the drive. It helps

that we have a Suburban with a full on multi-media entertainment center in the back.....lol. My kids hunker down back there with ipads, laptops and blu-rays and they

aren't heard from for hours on end. Not exactly roughing it like days of yesteryear.

Driving also allows us to take our son. My parents love Booty about as much as anything.....lol, not joking.

Here is a look at the itenerary and if it looks interesting go ahead and follow along for the ride......if it looks blah and you need more gamble in your TR's? Not to worry I will have a full on Live Vegas TR in about 13 days.

    July 1st/2nd

27 hours of driving.....will post the happenings that transpire.

    July 3rd (Friday)

Fishing for big smallmouth bass with Dad.(eating at my favorite pizza joint....Barbados) Going to Presque isle Downs in the evening to throw some money around on the tables with an old highschool friend of mine. 500 dollar buy in and green chip play.

    July 4th (Saturday)

    July 5th (Sunday)

Fishing with pops and eating pizza....... again. lol

July 6th and 7th (Monday and Tuesday)

My Mom, Dad, and I are heading to Cleveland to watch the Indians, go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and gamble at the Horseshoe . (not Dad....he's not a gambler) I got two nights comped at the Ritz courtesy of CET. I also want to try Marco's pizza in Cleveland.

My first girlfriend was a Barbados (6th grade) lol, hopefully you have a great trip. It's been a cold rainy spring here, but it looks like it's going to clear up for the weekend. It's raining like hell now.
Pi downs had to cancel horse racing for a few days, deer keep jumping onto the track while the horse's are running, their going to try starting the races earlier, and they cut the woods back from the track.

Drive safe and enjoy the time with your family.

Thanks guys.......small world[emoji23]. Nothing beats the Barbados over by eastway lanes. Mouth is watering at the thought.

Battle wagon is loaded and my gambling roll for this trip had been acquired.

    Haha this is AWESOME!!!

Looks a lot like a recent trip I did, only we drove the EVIL black suburban. Those things are the only way to travel. Wagon Queen Family Truckster is no match. Clark & Ellen would have killed for your battle wagon.

Totally agree on In-N-Out, its not my favorite, but I think it is a lower price point than some burgers it gets compared to, and I think it caters well to its audience. Hey I'm just trying to be nice to all their fans, Ill take Portillo's every time.

Looking forward to the rest of your report.

Hope you have a great time!! Went to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past March. It is a great place - we spent about 4 hours there and rushed through it. Could have spent the whole day easily.

A friend of mine and I are going to Vegas on Tuesday. He has never had In and Out so we will go. I have a feeling he will have the same reaction you did. We have driven 90 minutes from Columbus to either Wilson's (in Findlay) or Kewpee's (in Lima). WORTH IT!!!

Beautiful family. We have a Suburban too and all our family trips are road trips. Wife backs me up 100% on the driving, but 27 hrs= Road Warriors.

I'm heading to Vegas in 15 days and true to form .... somebody broke the transmission 2 days ago.

    BTW: I'm in Vegas 18th-29th. I'll look you up. [emoji481] [emoji481]
