Anyone else find the names of Total Rewards offers confusing?

I generally don't bother much with TR offers (for Vegas anyway). My comp trips have been through the rate calendar, as it is often better anyway, and easier to navigate, and can be booked further out.

But starting to look in anticipation of a trip next year, so I'm comparing offers I get vs what the calendar tends to give me. Except for tournament invites they are usually inline, but there is some weirdness.

They always seem to have a default offer (at the moment it is called "Stay with us" which really means nothing until you apply it to a casino calendar, as it is free for come or rate for others.

Then they will have "Stay with us and you also get", which again seemingly makes no promise as to rate, just has a bonus like table vouchers. Have to plug it in to see if its a comp or not.

Then it gets really weird. At the moment I see a few called "Free play in Vegas!". But the offer description is basically identical to "stay with us". Rooms comp or at casino rate, and no freeplay mentioned anywhere.

Then one called "July Bonus Coin in Vegas!" actually does include free play (labelled Casino play actually).

Anybody else have some experience with these? They all seem needlessly generic and stunningly unhelpful. How hard would it be to simply have the offer spelled out in the title, and then search the calendar for availability? Or have a comp offer for properties that are comp, and a rate offer for ones that are rate?

Most of my offers are pretty much spelled out to me, except for this one offer that I've received a few times. So I have an offer of hotel, free play and travel reimbursement that I took and booked for August. A couple of weeks later I got an offer that was titled bonus day booster July/August...it says "if you stay at one of our properties on these special days, you can boost your rewards and play or shop on us" the offer is for free play or a gift card to the forum shoppes in July or August. Just wondering if anyone else gets this particular offer or has redeemed it before. I know about the no combining offers with in 48 hours, but what confuses me a little is the wording "you can boost your rewards" seems like it means add to existing rewards. I'm sure I'm waaay off! That's just 1 offer I had to re read a few times

I received the "boost" offer for July/August and May/June. I was told that the offer could not be combined with another offer.

It's not just the names. Sometimes you don't get anything to spell out what the offer is and even if you do, that may be confusing. I got an email offer for NOBU that didn't even state whether they were offering free rooms or discounted rooms. I hope TR is not devolving into MLife.

Yeah, I never used TR offers until I started getting decent ones.

Over the last year, I've gotten a series of 3 or 4 offers via email that were basically:
Here's an offer you can use twice between now and [date]
You have to book it by [date]
    Room for X nights
    $X Freeplay
    $X Resort Credit
And here's the codes to use:
    ABCDE1
    ABCDE2

And I did book a couple of those online, using the codes, and everything went OK, I got the right amount of throw-ins when I arrived.

I haven't gotten any of those emails in a while. When I look in My Offers online, I can kind of tell I have the same offers, but there's nothing in the list of offers that says that this "Stay with us and you also get" is related to this "Free rooms" offer - you have to try to decipher the codes and date ranges. So I've had to call to book the last couple of reservations and have the agent piece things together. The first one of those is coming up in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping she got the right codes attached.

I just book the room as soon as I know I'm going to go and if a decent offer comes in I call my host and have it added.
