    My Trip Report

Flew down from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada and arrived around 7:30 Tuesday night to this oppressive heat. Along with me is my Buddy "E", who is a Vegas virgin. After checking in I had my obligatory Old Fashioned in Whisky Down and played some blackjack. Was nice to see $50 limits. Bought in for $300 and left with [IMG] A good star! I then took E on the MGM-NYNY-Excalibur-Luxor-Mandalay walk, primarily for a prime rib beef dip at Citizens, which I love. [IMG][IMG] Tram was closed by this hour so we canned it back to NYNY and walked across back to MGM [IMG] E was impressed with his first views of the strip. After that we wrapped up by losing money on slots before packing it in around 3am.

Wow. Autocorrect on my phone is the worst. Anyways, moving on. Yesterday we stayed around MGM for the morning, slotting around. Had a few good hits here and there. Walking Dead has been incredibly kind to me 3 of the 4 times I've played this trip. Bonuses pay well also, [IMG] Yabba Dabba Doo! We also attended the NHL Awards [IMG] [IMG] The show was quite entertaining even though the host's jokes bombed and everyone left before the Doughtry concert after. Saw all the hockey stars around the casino, not a big deal for me but E is a huge hockey fan, he even got the world's worst selfie with Carey Price [IMG][IMG][IMG]

After the NHL awards it we had a few drinks at Whisky Down and I gave back the $300 I made the day before but had a bunch of free drinks and played for about an hour and half then it was up the strip to check out PH, Cosmo [IMG] and some secret pizza to hold us over. Checked out Caesar's and Bellagio then cabbed it back to NYNY as E wanted to play some cheaper BJ. This is where things started really going well. I played a bit of craps while he started at BJ. Lots of great rolls, by others, not me and point seven outs. I made about $400 in pretty short order then joined him for BJ. Left NYNY up significantly then wandered back to MGM and found ourselves at another BJ table where I ended up betting $100/hand until 5am. Finished the day up over $2k. Phone was dead all night so no pics but the skirt steak at Wolfgang Puck's is amazing, especially at 2:30am. Heading to a cabana to chill for the day as I only had 5 hours of sleep.

MGM cabana is the way to go. Going to be hard to make this $400 minimum with just the two of us [IMG]. [IMG]

Lounged around the pool and lazy river until just after 3pm. It was hot. Very hot. Took it easy and had a couple of drinks, the ginger mojitos were great as well as some sliders and 6 cheese flatbread. Food was good. Went up and slept 4-7 and ate at Emeril's. [IMG] [IMG] Oysters and a shrimp po'boy with jambalaya. Good eats. Before eating I hit a $700 bonus on Walking Dead (AGAIN a winner) as well as a few bucks Ellen. Started with a $100 bill and cashed my ticket for $901. I should really quit while I'm ahead, but as all of you reading this know, that's not gonna happen!! I can't lose, right? LOL. Time to play some more to the gods of comps happy!

We stayed in an Executive Queen suite, Grand Tower, 9th floor. Great room for us to share, and actually more than we needed as we spent very little time there.
