happy to report BJ tables have returned to 3/2 at the Grand. They did have 1 table yet at 6/5. The $25 min DD
game was 3/2 last weekend. talked to host and he admitted they saw they were making a mistake and corrected it.

So, finally some good gambling news

That is great to see that a player unfriendly rule hurt business enough that it was reversed in short order. If people would simply NOT PLAY 6:5 it would not exist.

I was there a month ago on a couple weekday afternoons. $15 6/5 double deck which was always empty, 1 free bet table (be careful when this 30ish High Roller guy and his girl are there, total jerk, but the girl looks nice), $5 or $10 either 6 or 8 deck, 3/2, with surrender. Should only play that table in the morning when it's not crowded, otherwise some bad players will cost you money.

Hope this results in an upturn in business and the DTG, and other properties, see the light. I'll definitely do my part when I visit in a couple weeks.

I don't think 3/2 blackjack ever left the DTG, at least not entirely. It's been there the four times we've stayed since the opening. Two weeks ago they even had $3 3/2 blackjack. Didn't help me, as I still managed to lose 11 hands in a row. I love that game, but it sure hates me!

It was their two-deck games that all went 6:5.

Many of us who play blackjack downtown are only interested in double-deck games... sure, there's the Golden Gate "exception clause" that kicks in at night, but other than that - two-deck games only for me!

Do the "bad players" steal your chips?

I was just there this past week. There was a $5 6 deck shoe that was packed, an empty free bet game, and I played at a $15 2 deck 3-2 game. Friendly dealers, good drink service. This was on Mon. and Tues nights
