Just found out I have an extra day for the fourth of July weekend. Is it to late to book with the rates being high for the weekend?

Not sure what you mean. If you've got the money to book the higher rates, go for it. If you're asking whether the prices will drop, it's unlikely. Travelling back in time to book it earlier for a cheaper rate is probably the longest shot.

It's funny...I saw the thread title, chuckled, and said to myself - "It's never 'too late' to book!!!"

I too and not sure what the question is. Never too late to book -except maybe New Years when everyone is sold out.
