My wife and I both signed up for mLife before a trip and linked our accounts to each other and our room when we got there. We booked a 6 night stay for $130 a night. We put about $200 in food on our room. We played about 2 hours each of $10 craps, blackjack, and roulette and about $200 coin in for slots. Before we checked out, we wanted to get something comped on the back end. I thought we'd have about $50 in comps taken off of our bill. The mLife clerk said she could take off $60 off for food and beverage (I assume express comps), and another $650 for room charges... What??? We didn't argue, had it taken off our bill and were quite happy. Looking at our mLife account, we hit 60,000 tier credits for the trip. Our accounts have the same balances/credits. Is any of this correct? Is it normal to have 4 of 6 nights take off on the back end? Did someone make a mistake somewhere in rating us? Just thought I'd get your take on this as it still baffles me. Thanks
I think they dramatically over rated you or your wife. $200 coin in on slots is minimal and normally $25 or higher is needed for any table rating or any meaning. Take it and run!
Bank error in your favor. 6 nights at $130 + $200 in room charges = 21,250 Tier Credits 25 TC per $1 hotel spend). So you somehow got ~ 39,000 Tier Credits from gambling, which is the equivalent of $13,000 coin in. If you actually did $13,000 coin-in, that would be worth maybe $250 in back-end comps.
Slight error in my calc. 39,000 Tier Credits = 3,900 Base points, which is equivalent to 3,900 x $3 coin in, or $11,700 coin in.
I was only able to get $600 taken off after playing ~2 hours a day of $110 avg bet craps for 8 days, along with some sporadic slot play. I'd say you hit the comp jackpot.
