Hi there, me and my wife did spend a 4 night trip to Vegas from 17-21 may. We live in Belgium. We stayed 2 nights at Mandalay Bay and 2 nights at The mirage thru myvegas comps. We both signed up for mlife and linked our accounts. After to trip our account shows a little over 45200 tier credits which were earned about equally over the 2 properties. Apparently we lost about 1100$ at the tables and $600 at the slots according to the tax info page. I did go to the mlife desk before we left the Mirage and they took off all our room charges ($140$) except for tips. I forgot to do thet at MB. Since I'm totally new to the whole comp thing, do you guys think we can expect some kind of offers with this play (free or discounted rooms, any freeplay, any resort credit)? And if so, when would they start appearing because in both our account we have only the normal offers with the pearl discount. And if we get offers, for how long do offers keep coming because we would normally not return before march 2016. Thanks a lot!
Actual losses won't mean a lot when it comes to offers, it's all about average bet, time at table and house edge. Or if you're a machine player, coin-in. That being said, you'll probably see something decent just keep an eye out for their seasonal offers. A few years ago I played less and got free or nearly free rooms at NYNY.
Make sure that you have opened a Web account for your mLife card(s) and check regularly (at least one a month).
I suggest you call VIP Services at whatever casino you want to stay at. They'll most likely give a decent offer.
Getting offers for me when I lived in Europe was hit or miss. With that many points though, you should get a decent offer I would say though. Definitely call them up before your next trip to see what they can do for you. I tend to get good offers directly to my email more than the ones that actually show up on line in my mlife account.
And does anyone kwows how long you keep receiving offers once you get them. Will they keep coming u till a next visit or will they fade away over time if you don't come back within a few months?
Offers do fade. I used to go to Beau Rivage often, but have backed off. Freeplay offers have been cut in half. It is not because of a low play, but less visits.
Based on your play level and the fact that you were able to get stuff comped on the back end, I'd expect you should get offers. You may or may not have offers show up in your MLife.com online account. It may take a month or more before offers start getting generated. If they don't show up online, you may still have offers and can determine this by calling the property(s) you are interested in. MLife is getting way out in front on offers - I already have an offer from MGM Grand that can be used until January 31, 2016. Different properties may have different timetables, but I would expect that if your play does end up generating offers, that you will end up having some available for March 2016 travel dates. However, offers that include those dates may not be available until the October/November timeframe.
Just to give an update: I received my first offer today in my mlife account: Your Summer Offer Awaits! . Mandalay Bay • Las Vegas, NV Your Summer Bonus offer is available for stays now through November 30, 2015. Book by August 31 to enjoy: •Three Complimentary Night •$100 Resort Credit and Additional Nights from $19 •25% Discount on Spa Services and Cabanas And exactly the same for DELANO. I guess this is a pretty decent offer considering our level of play?
That does look like a good offer based on your play level. I'm not sure if Marketing to European guests is the same as US domestic mktg, but based on my experience here in the states, you should continue to receive Mlife offers for at least another year; after that offers tend to decrease in value and scope but do continue for a couple more years since competition is strong to get and keep you coming back! As others have noted, there are several different types of offers from Mlife Mktg: * Web based, online 'Corporate' offers found when you log in to your acct, these often include offers for several different Mlife properties. * Snail mail offers from a specific property you have stayed at, example, MB and Mirage - usually Better than online generic offers since they want you back at that specific property and you have some history there. * email offers (if you provided your email in your acct settings) these are same/similar to snail mail, and usually property specific. * Call the Mktg number on any of your offers with name and Players card number, and they can tell which offers you have. My winter and spring offers tend to be better than summer offers - so check often and compare your offers to get the best/most from your next visit. Best of luck on those future offers!
Yes, it's a decent offer. It's good to see you got one. I'd expect that it means you will end up getting one that will cover your dates in March if you end up traveling then,
Strangly I got this offer today: LUXOR SUMMER OFFER! Luxor • LAS VEGAS, NV Spring into the season with this awesome offer: 3 Complimentary nights with upgrade to a Pyramid Suite $200 in FREEPLAY® $100 in M life Resort Credit to use at restaurants, bars, nightlife, spa & entertainment venues at any M life Resort Resort fee comped on complimentary nights Book additional rooms for friends & family at 35% off rates Offer valid through October 31, 2015. To book online, click ‘Select this offer’ and sign-in. We only went to dinner to the steak and the sushi restaurant and maybe played 150$ thru the slots. And this seems to be like 600$ comps upfront...
I'm kind of in the same boat. I was hoping to get a room at Excalibur for February from my play on my next trip. Not my choice, but who can refuse a pretty lady? I'm hoping to be rated at about $75-$100/hand. Depending on how they rate craps. What kind of offer do you think I'll end up getting?
