    My Trip Report

Got an offer through Mlife for a two night stay at Mandalay Bay. My wife and I had never stayed there before so we figured we could cross it off the list (want to eventually stay in them all on the strip)

Started our trip with brunch at Bacchanal.....it was good but not worth the price in my opinion. After that I got murdered me in craps. Evened out in BJ. Wife was also killed in roulette and the little bit of craps she did. We spread it out over Caesars, Harrahs, Venetian, and back and Mandalay Bay. All in for the day we were down 800. We tried to budget 600 for the day but had to dip into the "just in case we run out" funds. Had a good dinner at Table 10 with some friends at 6pm and I was already trashed. Made it through dinner and another 6 hours before we headed back to MB.

Day two started out late and kind of rough. We ate at this all you can eat Korean BBQ north of MGM. It has become our 2nd day lunch the last couple of trips. We hit MGM and NYNY with no real luck or loss. I think we were down 100. We thought we'd gamble a bit at the first casino we ever stayed at which was 13 yrs ago, Excalibur. It wasn't that bad. Thought it was funny when I put my mlife card down and the pit boss came over and said really? Made our 100 back on Blackjack and thought we'd gamble over at Luxor. We have never played there. Lost 200 on craps within 30 minutes and just wasn't feeling it anymore. My wife lost 50 on slots and 60 on BJ. Craps tables were packed but no one really went on a roll. I even stepped back after I lost just to see a couple more tosses and nothing.

Headed back to our casino to shower and change for dinner. We ate at Charlie Palmer and it was delicious! I'm very glad I was told about this place. Steak was great, the seafood tower thing was great, and the wine was great. After dinner I pulled out 2 100 dollar bills and I told my wife I wanted to see if we could get lucky in the high limit slots. I found the cheapest machine was a 5 dollar max pull of 15. So I put my 100 in and on my 6th pull I hit the largest pay out ever. (Don't get to excited it was only 2400) But best for me! Wife didn't get luck on her 100.

Played a little more craps and blackjack but decided to call it a night around midnight since we were leaving the next day. The next morning I knew I only had an hour to play so I started betting bigger than normal on craps and gave 1k back. Ended up coming home up 1,000. Pretty decent trip for us so thought I'd share!
