The Jaberwockeez guys literally creep me out. The masks remind me of scream - I hate slasher movies. I was 17 y.o. when the first Halloween movie came out and I had nightmares for weeks. - Michael in that mask -- creepy, scary. Even for free I won't go see them. Right now myvegas has one of their challenges with the Jaberwockeez theme going on -- can't stand to look at it.

The Absinthe guy creeps me out too so I've never been to see that. I posted on another thread in here about my disgust of the Fremont St freaks -- but I'd be the one taking a photo of the old saggy man in the saggy banana hammock -- why?? I don't know. Kind of like the old Ray Steven's song -- showing my age -- "The Streak" I think it was called. Back in the 70's it was a fad. Streaker is running by and he yell;s out Don't look Ethel -- but it was too late

And I won't take a bus again -- I'm cheap, but at my age (53) somethings I just can't tolerate - and they seem to be plentiful on the transit system. :grrr:

Forgot about the Blue Man group -- bald blue men?? Still a little too creepy. HMMM don't think I would go see them - but possibly - if it were for free.

Gamble or stay at a CET casino because they repeatedly pissed me off a few years ago.

Hmm. There isn't much I won't do, but I will not

~Wait in line to go to a club, or anyplace where I likely can't hear anyone speak. Maybe would have for Lil Jon at Wynn, but mostly I couldn't care less about what is at LAS clubs.

~Go to a dayclub at a pool or most of the pool parties. Trying to multitask by being at the pool and sleeping at the same time. Old school by the pool at TI looks ok tho, 7-10 pm Fridays.

~Cross the streams drinking again. Just one type of alcohol a night, thanks! Learned my lesson!

and I was gonna say "go to casino royale again" but who knows, maybe I'll get into craps some day. :wink

    Here's a few for me:

Pay for an overpriced drink. I can sit down at a penny slot for 5 minutes and get a drink for a $1 tip? Why would I ever pay $14 for a drink?

Go to Martorano's. The owner/chef if a complete delta bravo.

    Play 6:5 blackjack.

See Garth Brooks. Garth Brooks sucks.

Pay for a room. If I can't get a room comped, I'll find dates when I can and go then.

You do know that Michael Myers is wearing a William Shatner Mask right? Now that's not so scary is it? I'm a huge fan of Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights!
But to stay more on topic: There's a number of things I will not do in Las Vegas. Mainly because they are not part of my everyday lifestyle.

Eat at The Mirage buffet. It sucks.

    See a Cirque show.

    Set foot in The Plaza.

lol at the Family Guy clip

I will not go to a nightclub in Vegas. I don't go to them in "real" life so I definitely not go to one in Vegas where prices are quadrupled, lines are long and guys have to pay extra to just walk in the door.

Cirque shows do not appeal to me so I have no desire to see one. I would if my girlfriend wanted to go but I have no plans to see one. I like comedy shows and that's about it.

I will not actively seek out off-strip casinos

While I enjoy a nice steak dinner and don't mind paying for it - you will not catch me doing a fine dining experience - just doesn't appeal to me

    Ride a shuttle bus

I always pose that question to others about shows.

If you got free tickets would you go? You have to stay the whole show.

If not then what if there were a $20 bill on your seat so you got free tickets and paid to see the show, would you still waste time on it?

For me there are some that I would never see. Of course Louie Anderson is on the top of that list. That and if they had a night of all female comedians, would not accept free tickets and cash to see that either. (if you have to ask then you will never understand)

Good question in regards to free shows. I love Barry Manilow, I've seen him three times over the years. First time in my 20s, when I was the youngest there, by generations, lol. We had free tickets to opening night at Paris when he was there several years back. It was awful, if we could have left we would have. We were stuck in the middle of a row and didn't want to inconvenience people. He lip synced his opening act,and it went down hill from there. He had just had hip surgery, came out in a wheelchair, stood up and tried to shake his tail feather. Omg. Then he sang all new songs that no one knew. People were walking out right and left. Yikes. If I remember right, he didn't last long, certainly not for his two year residency.

I have gotten free ticks to many shows and concerts over the years that I have no interest in seeing. I go out of my way to pick them up, and have had the hardest time giving them away. I get the strangest looks, lol. People must think I'm a timeshare seller or something. I end up giving them to bartenders. Done doing that.

And there it is. Different strokes for different folks.
    - We still love the fountains after all these years and often still do a dinner on the patio at Olives.
    - We see Beatles LOVE on every trip.. probably up to 10 times now? Have also done O, Ka, Mystere, Elvis and MJ (once each)
    - Excaliber - no love there, but we do walk through it from MB to middle strip if we are staying down at MBay

    Let's see here ...

Go up in the Stratosphere tower. I'm not afraid of heights, I'm afraid of falling!
Do the zip line, either one of them. "More guts than brains!" :)
Those velvet rope clubs. I'm too old for that scene.
Play in a high limit room.
    Go to a swingers club.

I'm sure I'll think of more when I hit POST. :)

No clubs with that techno electronic music, would not pay for bottle service but at a nice lounge I would be willing to hitch a free ride.:wink2:

The only bar/lounge that interests me is the Bourbon Room.

    1. I won't go to strip clubs. I see no point to going to see trailer trash dance naked on stage. It's like they think the internet doesn't exist.
    2. No female impersonator shows.
    3. No nightclubs. Paying $1000 for "bottle service". I don't think so. How about a $30 bottle in my hotel room and then hit the casino instead?

I don't set a lot of "won't do" rules in Vegas because those are just made to be broken. :)

I have no intention of returning to Olympic Gardens after my last experience there. It was pretty awful.

I don't vomit in public. A girl has to have SOME standards.

I'd like to say I don't buffet, but I travel with people who do sometimes, so.....
