Hi - I'm mostly a lurker on VMB but wanted to tap into the great members we have here. I just received an offer from Binions/Four Queens. It is for 3 comp nights , $50 food, and $300 in free slot play. Also, if we earn 3,000 pts at Binions they will give us another $300. I have never, ever gotten any free slot play before. We go to Vegas 1 to 2 times a year and would be considered micro-rollers, so I am not sure how we received this offer. So I have 2 questions. First, has anyone ever received this mailer, and if so, were there any catch? Secondly, does anyone know how Binion's free play works? We are mostly VP players, but can burn free money on slots just as easy! Thanks in advance!

This is indeed a legit offer, and a standard offer for $12,000 a day coin in. You have lucked out. Maybe play is down since FQ/Binions revamped their slot club and offer system last fall.

The best part is you may not even have to book the rooms to get the freeplay. It's just there, on your card. You use the little key pad thingy next to the card slot to load freeplay onto your machine of choice.

Hope you get to use this offer!

Thanks Flusher - my wife with be thrilled with not having to say at 4Q's. I like it there but she has become spoiled. And believe me, there is no way we are near $12k a day coin in. Not sure what triggered it, but I hope to use it. It is for July and Aug only. Thanks again!

I got the same thing and I am not a huge gambler by any means (Maybe $1K in at Binions over New Years). I called a couple weeks back to book the rooms and there were only like two dates left in July and August. The host said that the marketing department just blasted it out. That being said, only the freeplay is good if you can't stay those two days (no food even if you use the casino rate). We ended up booking elsewhere but will definitely be using the $300 in freeplay.

My wife got the same offer. I got 2 nights and $40 free play which make no sense since I'm the biggest loser .... I mean degenerate. We called Binions to set up a reservation and the host on the phone said they sent out a gazillion of those offers to get people in the door, and that very few dates were left. We were able to get 2 nights instead of 3, but still get all the free play. We got the same dates as our next trip and really don't plan on using the room, but the $340 of free play will come in quite handy during the day we spend downtown.

    Mr. Flusher,
Huge fan of your reports, thank you! I just received an offer for Golden Nugget, for $300 FP per month. It is 4 nights and I've never stayed downtown, assuming they got my name from AC and realize I live in CA... I'm wondering if drop ins can redeem similarly or if one has to stay in order to get that. Appreciate your insight!

I think for the freeplay at the Nugget it's just there on your card.

I'm happy for all the people getting FQ freeplay but I gotta say it pisses me off to think what I have gone through to get those offers. We missed a tier level by 4 frigging points ($32) and it cost $100 freeplay. And then they turn around and hand it out like candy.

It's weird how casinos do this - don't reward loyal customers, but throw the kitchen sink at others!

Do you know what their tiers are? I'm at the $200 plus $200 for 2,000 points over 3 days. I typically play through about $7,500 per day, sometimes a little more. The offer would seem to indicate they are looking for an average of around $5,500 per. Is the next tier $12k? Probably won't get there if it is that high. Now, if they would add some good multi line machines.....

Yes, it is legit. I had never gotten much from them either, but about a year ago they gave me something like $400 in freeplay plus dinner for two (up to $250) at their "sister" property Four Queens Hugo Cellar plus a room. It was fun and I love Hugo's Cellar! I never got anything again alas.

My host told me that it takes $12K a day to get the $300 freeplay offer. I don't know what the other tiers are.
