Vegas in October

Hello there,

My 30yrs old birthday is on october 25th and I want to go to Vegas for a week. I would like to know if it's a good moment to go in Vegas. Does pools are still be open? Is there a lot of people in October? I'm from Canada so I'm okay if it's not freaking hot. If it's above 70f, it's good for me.

Vegas in October, you're looking at 20's during the day (obviously the earlier in the month, the hotter) and 10-15 (or 20) during the evening / night.

Pools tend to close mid-octoberish from what I remember, so if you're going for your birthday, they may be closed.

 

You are certainly pushing the end of pool season no doubt. I have been to Vegas in October plenty of times. I have never found it all that busy and the weather is fantastic. (of course I spend 90% of my time sitting in a casino.)

 

Been to Vegas over Halloween many times. Never made it to a pool (usually closed a week or 2 earlier) but it's one of the best times to be out for people watching. And the temps have been very comfortable.

 

You must mean 20C? Well here in AMERICA we measure temperature in F (Freedom Units).

 

I've been in October. The weather is very good. I like going to shows and there is generally something excellent to see. Football season is underway so Sunday in the sports book is busy.

 

I'm from Canada too and I went last October 19th for 5 days. It was around 25 to 30 (unseasonably warm I think) for all of the days. The Luxor pool was open the whole time I was there.

 

One of our few tripe was in October, definitely spent time by the pool. Probably a lot to do with coming from the Northeast. Almost like our Florida trip in February, time at the pool again.

 

We've been going to Vegas every October for 20+ years. My favorite time to go. Pools are iffy. Sometimes they are closed, sometimes they aren't. All depends on the weather. Have fun!!

 

Last year October 10-14 MB pool was open. Not over crowded.

 

October is the best time to go. The weather is perfect.

 

Plus, Haloween is really a sight to see (actually, the Saturday before Haloween more so than October 31st)

 

Hey thanks everyone for your nice answers. Last year weather has been great at the same time. Let's hope it will be like that this year too. Apparently most pools close by Halloween so it should be alright. I want to know, when should I book my hotels for the end of october? Am I a little bit too soon?

 

Been middle of Oct...not the last week & weather was in the 80's & pool was great.

 

Book now directly with the hotel.
Keep checking the website for price changes.If the price goes down simply call and tell them you see a lower price.They will adjust it.

I'm heading there on October 6th to the 9th!!! So I hope the pools will still be open, if not oh well!

Just want to nth the recommendations to go in October. This year, Halloween will be on a Saturday, so the planets are aligned for some awesome people watching. The weather in late October is awesome and the crowds are manageable. I can't think of a better time to go to Vegas.
