As per my title, I'm after the best place to get Breakfast (American style) that's not a Buffett, at either the Wynn or the Encore!

    Suggestions please :)

Tableau would get my vote. Though, Society Cafe is very good as well. Terrace Point has been hit or miss for me.

Society Café. Have the Braised Beef Short Rib Hash and a Classic Bloody Mary. Stay away from the sourdough bread, however. When toasted it turns into armor plate suitable for an M1A1 Abrams.

Yet another vote for Society Cafe. I will be trying Tableau this trip because it is included in the deal I got. But Society has never let me down.

what's the advantage of "American style" breakfast over Wynn's buffet?
at the buffet: more choices, much less waiting time, cheaper

Well the food, drinks, service and atmosphere is just so much better in the restaurants mentioned above compared to the buffet.

I'm a huge fan of Terrace Pointe Café. The blueberry muffin was fantastic. You can also sit outside which is nice.

    Tableau or Terrace Point.

Jazz Brunch at the Country Club if it's Sunday.

Are you referring to the Wynn Tower Room with breakfast offer. I just booked a Wynn Resort Deluxe King room and for $116/day more I can upgrade to the tower and get breakfast at Tableau for two each day along with nightly turn down service, room cleaned twice a day, free use of the fitness center, free daily newspaper and access to the private suite pool. This room would also have no daily resort fee. I am trying to decide if this is a good deal or not. For the 5 nights we are staying there it would cost $580.00.

Yes, that is what I did. I did it as part of a Wynn Air/Hotel package and at the time was able to have a $200 resort credit for $100. Basically spend $100 on food and beverage an get $100 free. That's easy over 5 nights between 1 or 2 good dinners and cocktails. I used the air/hotel package for my last trip, for a deluxe resort room, and found that it was the best deal I could find.

    Hi,
I love to use my breakfast in my room. The strip view is fantastic. The In-room service is good.

I think what luckydude is talking about is something different. If you are in an Encore Tower Suites room, whether you pay for the room or it is comped, you get a complimentary breakfast for two in your room. You choose from a memo of about five entrees.

If you are in a Wynn Tower Suites room, you get complimentary breakfast for two but it is at one of the restaurants. Can't remember which one. I stayed in the Encore Tower Suites this past April and really enjoyed breakfast in my room. I had booked a room at a good rate and took advantage of the upgrade for $101, which moved me from a regular Encore room to an Encore Tower Suites room. On the Encore side the basic Tower Suites room looks like the regular Encore room, but the amenities are nicer, you get the complimentary breakfast, access to fitness center, turn down service, complimentary pressing daily for 4 items, and a couple of other things, and without the resort fee. It was totally worth the extra $101 per night and a host at the backend wound up comping the room anyway.

Staying there in a month for four nights. Can't wait!

I was unclear in how I wrote it. I did what luckydude is talking about. At Wynn, you get Tableau for breakfast. I was also saying I did it via the Wynn Air/Hotel package. In addition to the Tower upgrade I get the $200 resort credit for $100 for doing a 5 night stay.
