I have a bunch of Caesars reward credits that will expire on 5/21. I am not going to be in Vegas until 5/28. Is there a quick easy, surefire way to do something that will earn me 1 RC immediately so these do not expire? It looks like purchasing items through Total Rewards will take too long for the RC's to post. Facebook games? Social rewards?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I purchased $5 worth of coins on the Facebook casino game and the RC posted right away.

There are several ways, including ryansmac's suggestion:

    From the YR website article:

    https://totalrewards.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/128/kw/expiration

We understand that it is difficult for some members to visit one of our properties every six months; as such we encourage these members to use their credits during their stay, so that they do not run the risk of losing them. To continue building your Reward Credit balance:

    1. Simply visit any casino in the Total Rewards network before your expiration date, use your Total Rewards card, earn just 1 Reward Credit (Reward Credits post to account within 24 hours).

    2. Shop at the Total Rewards Marketplace just once every six months and your Reward Credits won't expire. You will earn 1 Reward Credit for every $1 you spend at hundreds of your favorite online retailers; please note that gift card purchases do not qualify for Reward Credits (Reward Credits post to account in 45 days).

    3. Purchase at least $5 in virtual coins by playing any of our TR Social games on Facebook. Please make sure that you sign into your Total Rewards account, via the Facebook application, to earn your Reward Credits (Reward Credits post to account in 7 days).

Sounds like number three is the only option that can be accomplished by this week, unless OP lived near a CET casino.

My g/f's comps were set to expire at the end of January for Hollywood casinos. They like CET have an annoying six month deadline. So we went there and they paid for it as my gf got her first royal at nickels for $200!

Yeah the shortest amount of time I ever had RCs credited for a TR Marketplace purchase was a little over two weeks.

Not sure option 3 will even suffice since it says it takes 7 days to post. I see that someone says they were posted the same day, so maybe the 7 day wording is just covering themselves in case of internal problems, but if not and it takes 7 days, it will be too late. Obviously this is worth a shot anyway.

The other way would be to express mail the card to someone in a Caesars casino city and have them earn one point for you via play. Obviously you would need to make arrangements to cover their loss and find someone you would trust giving your card to.

Yeah going on faith it's"up to" 7 days with option 3. CET should be able to do better than a week for that online casino.

well if your RC's are more than $5 worth (which I assume they are) then it's worth taking the $5 risk to save whatever you'd lose by them expiring.

I think the FB games are the quickest to post but I am not sure how fast that will be. It's definitely faster than Marketplace and it's definitely not weeks. How much are we talking though? Sometimes it worth it to let it go this time and make sure you completely cash out next time.

Not sure where you stand with offers and comps but having someone put 1 point on your card will mess up your ADT.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I signed up for the caesars casino and bought $5 just now. Hopefully, they show up by the end of tomorrow. It will be touch and go :) My total RC's right now are 13,415.

I purchased $5 of chips on 5/19 in the afternoon and the credits did show up on 5/21. Thanks for the suggestions.

So glad it worked for you! If you do the Social Rewards program also, you can redeem often enough to keep credits active & build up additional credits. (Not the same as the social rewards within the online slot games).

Something else you can do in the future possibly to preserve your reward credits would be to get the Total Rewards Visa card. As long you make at least one purchase every six months, you will earn reward credits that keep your account active.
