How do you redeem the two dinner buffets at Mandalay Bay?

Am I ineligible for that reward because I have an mlife membership that is a decade old?

Can my wife redeem that reward? She just signed up for an mlife acct to redeem Ka tickets but hasn't ever been to Vegas in her life. Is she now ineligible to redeem that reward?

Very confusing, t and c aren't very clear either.

You can't use 2 rewards on one account.
Don't even have to have an mlife account with purchasing the rewards online. When you get to town, head to the mlife desk, get your mlfe card and then give them the confirmation codes for the rewards.

They'll put the rewards on your mlife card/account. Hand the cashier your mlife card and they'll see the "comps" on it.

I know how it works. I want to redeem it. I have redeemed dozens of rewards. This one says "new mlife member reward" right on it. Why? Can i get it since im not a "new mlife member?"

If the Mandalay buffet is a myVegas reward, the person that redeemed the reward (Facebook account with myVegas) would go to the mLife booth at Mandalay Bay and redeem the reward. Have the redemption number with you to make it easier for the mLife person to redeem it.

The second question doesn't appear to be a myVegas question. More of an mLife new member rewards question.

If the "new member rewards is attached to her mLife number, then only she can redeem it.

It's probably a "gift" from mLife for her signing up.

If your wife just signed up for an Mlife card and never been to Vegas before, then yes, she fits the description for the T&C. You would be ineligible because you're an established Mlife member.

It seems the two free buffets for Mandalay Bay are now good for only new mlife members. Things keep changing and not for the better

Just another "stipulation" that is making MyVegas less appealing by the day. With all these "new members only" or "required to stay" stipulations, it makes people who stay at places like CET have no reason to step foot in an Mlife casino. You'd think MGM would want people who stay elsewhere to have a reason (show, buffet, whatever) to come into their hotel and spend the money.

That was their logic from the onset no doubt. They track you from the moment you walk on the property to the time you leave with your Mlife usage. There are tons of people that walk in, eat the buffet, see the show and walk out without dropping a cent on the property. Sucks for CET users looking for freebies but they can't just continue to hand things out for free.

I'm in the same boat, a bit confused! I had purchased the 2 for 1 at Mandalay bay for my upcoming trip next week then noticed the '2 dinner buffets for new mlife members'. I have purchased that now but I did sign up to Mlife about 6 months ago and have already redeemed show tickets for my upcoming trip. I'm hoping I will still be classed as a 'new member' even though I signed up months ago and redeemed a reward as technically I have not used a reward!. Still have to pick up my card when I arrive, will play a dumb foreigner if I hit trouble!

zippy they classify somone as having never redeemed a reward a "New Member". Unfortunately you won't be able to redeem this reward.

You are a new member IF you don't have the card yet. If you have not been to Vegas yet with mlife, you are a new member. I don't care how many rewards you have purchased, as long as you don't have your physical card. Just think about it.

Ok, well I do not have the card yet. have signed up online and will pick it up when I get to Vegas. I was planning though on redeeming the Mandalay bay reward later on in my trip to Vegas, so would I need to redeem that reward as soon as I pick up my card to take advantage of the 'new member'

Something really strange happened. This morning, when I wanted to redeem this reward, the women atthe mlife desk said to me I could not redeem this reward since i wasnt A new member. I told her I was a new member, but she insisted I was not. I asked her why she Saïd this and she said I used my card for the first time on april 27. I said that was impossible since i arrived in vegas on may 15 and i only picked up my card 2 days ago. But she kept telling me thats not correct since I used the card on april 27. So i asked her where i used the card. She told me i played 2 Hours of BJ at 19$\hand in the Luxor. Very strange since I live in Belgium and i was at work that Day. Eventually A supervisor came and she approved the reward, but the mlife lady still thought I was lying About it all.

When getting your new card I would show the mlife rep the reward. Obviously you most probably would not be using it first if you also had a comped room and were there to get your card to check in. Since I am checking in on Labor day (after 6 nights downtown) I couldn't use it that day anyway since it is closed for the holiday. It has been verified on other boards that if you have not gotten your card yet, you are considered a new member.

We never been in vegas and we have no card.
    We have 3 rewards

    1 Zarkana (already confirmed)
    2 Buffet for Aria
3 Buffet for mandalay Bay (only for new members)

We would like to go first to Aria Bufet (before zarkana show) and the next day to mandala buffet.

Can I go to the aria mlife desk and get the M life card , and also get there the voucher for the aria buffet and for the mandala buffet for the next day ?

You'll be able to get your card and the Aria Buffet loaded on your card, but you'll have to go down to Mandalay Bay the day you want to eat at their buffet.
