We passed through there a couple of days ago on our way back to Seattle. I didn't have a clue about it, but checking it out later on VPfree2 it looks like there's some good video poker there. Wish I had known, because we stayed in Wells (a quiet little town along I-80) when we could have pushed on a little further to Jackpot. Anyone have any experience with any of the casinos there? If so, your thoughts? Thanks.

My SIL lives about 75 minutes from there in S Idaho. I've visited a few times, but not for quite awhile, but she and her family and my MIL have been there quite a bit. Its a small town, just a few casino's. Cactus Petes is the most "vegasy" one. Low limits on table games are the norm, cheap food too. There are probably 3-4 casinos. Not worth a destination trip, but if you are in the area, worth a stop, esp if you enjoy the Downtown Vegas vibe.

I went there once with my mom and cousin. I don't know what casino we were in when I got carded (I was only 18), I turned around an looked at the waitress and she said never mind and walked away. We were only there a couple of hours, but I had fun.
