Most importantly - haven't seen an escalator out of service yet!

What do you do when you meet some random Canadian VMB members - you eat asparagus. I'm way down - probably crashing after this!

I'm up, but really like to try to get 8 hours of sleep, even on vacation so I'm not a zombie next week (yeah, yeah, I know, I know). I'll probably get showered.and dressed, but a nap later is probable ;)

I had quite the nest (or mess) going last night!

Thanks for the luck - seems I can use it! I enjoy pennies for the bonuses and stuff, so no more max betting on those. It's fine when you're winning, but I'd like to hit 10,000 pts at Cosmo for the mothers day drawing :) I will probably play more reel slots in high limit, I like those too :)

I'm generally following my plan. I won't get High Roller or show tickets now, limo this morning was cancelled, and my sister had wanted to eat a Payard's, so I cancelled that too. I prefer to wing it for food, and since I'll probably eat at the bar, shouldn't be a problem.

Not drinking to much during the day today except water, as I have my reservation at e' tonight. Will probably walk around and take pics. Might not upload until at wifi, I imagine I'm killing my data plan.

Sinuses are a wreck, don't tell my mom, haha ;)

    This was a "smart" idea

Word of the day - tesselation or tesselating

Used in a sentence: These dancing lady figures create a tesselating pattern :)

And my phone wants to correct it to tesselatio. [emoji14]

The tub in the room is a soaking tub...mine doesn't look super clean, that is not my hair :S

Eww on the tub. Funny on the auto-correct.

I'm really enjoying your trip report so far. Keep it coming.

Pretty quiet everywhere and cook outside. This Nebraska girl was cold on the walk home last night. Speaking of nebraska, I had to break out my ever classy "Children of the Corn" shirt today. And man, am I appreciating having pockets today!

Escalators mid strip were half down last night after I posted they were working (the south ones were - I swear!) Funny that the two escalators from 4th at Cosmo to 3rd only go down. I suspect it's because you need a key for 4?

Headed over the Planet Hollywood to see if I could check in - wanted to charge my earl of sandwich to the room

Actually saw people up and around there. Over the last hour there is definitely more people out. It was really quiet when I first set out.

Diamond checkin is to the right of regular registration. Oh, and I checked, they don't have the new cards here for diamond yet.

After I checked in, went to grab a bite. Not sure what happened to that pic and the one of the empty poker room - they disappeared? I had an original earl and iced tea. Also grabbed a $4 mixed fruit parfait for the road. Bill was about $15 - charge to the room of course.

Checked out the poker tourney schedule - right before 10, the room was completely empty, few minutes later there was 2 tables for the 10am tournament. Here's the schedule - can buy in anytime in the first 5 rounds (hour 20).

Then went and got my free play (450) and some cash.

Then went to check out my room. I think she said it was a resort room. It's on the 9th floor, I can hear the pool music clearly, but I don't care, just wanted a room quick!

It's pretty spacious. Some wear on furnishings but generally good shape. Hallway was really dark.

Bathroom on left - lots of room in here too. I like the counterspace better!

There is a seat in the shower
    [IMG]

And there are two sinks, one on each side, they seem to go on forever!
