Drove down to Tunica as I am apt to do on a day off and look what I fell into. No hand pays in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. This felt good!

Nice hit. I am glad I don't live that close to Tunica or I would be in the casino several times a week or until I went broke.

lol, probably me too. Although, I am always amazed how I see some of the same faces every single time I go to GoldStrike. I think they are there every Friday and Saturday.

Sad but true guys. I'm sure this is the case in other markets as well, like Kansas City, Shreveport, etc. Oddly enough, I rarely notice people that much unless they're real characters.

Same with Reno...when I went every weekend, I noticed a lot of OTHER people who were there every weekend also (I always thought they were all "locals", turns out they WEREN'T! and they thought the same thing of me, that I was a "local", hahahaha)

It's a blessing and a curse Hogman. Only a 45 minute drive and I'm in either an MLife or CET property. I build up a lot of Express Comps and Reward Credits but never spend them in Tunica. I save them up for my Vegas trips, like I did at the end of April. Horseshoe has been having a 10X RC promotion on different days every week for quite a few months now and I try to plan my trips to take advantage of those promo days. Gold Strike does the same thing, but they have never been on the same days as Horseshoe's, go figure. Always have comps for meals and room comps if the mood strikes. The curse is...well obvious. Earning those credits is great, but if the W/L is not in my favor, the 45 minute drive back home isn't as enjoyable. I had one of those days today at both GS and Horseshoe where it seemed like nothing could stop me. Not a life-changing kind of day, but machines were my friends plus I started building my credits back up for my next Vegas trip.

I'm glad the nearest "real" casino is a 2-hour drive from NYC lol
