I went for several motorcycle races and had to pay the bloated prices on everything, even table play, because of the fight. My races were scheduled before the fight was, as was my room and flights, but I bet on the fight because it was happening.

In my opinion, a fighter hiding an injury doesn't allow a bettor to be able to properly handicap and/or wager knowledgeably

People are questioning the injury claim and when he was first injured. Arum said the Nevada State Athletic Commission said that he couldn't receive some shot that would make it better, a week before the fight. NSAC is saying that the first they heard of the injury was 90 minutes before the fight. Are they lying to put the blame on Manny? Possible. Guess we'll never know.

Anybody that didn't bet on sure-thing May

    deserves whatever he got.

That was the easiest money I ever made in my life.

In fact it was so easy that I tried to press another 10 dimes on May last minute and nobody would take the action.

Uhm. He was an underdog from what I recall. Like a 2-1 underdog. You really thought Mayweather was going to lose? Injury or not... Mayweather wins. As much of a sucky fight as it was... he won based on stats. That's how he wins if you've watched his previous fights. Gambling baby! It's like buying stocks. Invest in Enron. I hear they're doing well.

It's boxing dude, not the NFL. And too many people confused the fighter they wanted to win with the fighter who was not going to lose.

The NFL actually at least makes an attempt to have the teams declare any injury status and NFL owners are very aware of this.
    Boxing? Not so much.

Shifter......I'm always amused when someone pounds his chest and gloat on the "easy money"............after the fact. Tell us about the other "easy money", "lock", "run to the bank" bets that you've had. LOL.

In shifter's defense, this was very easy money. Too many people bet this fight with their heart, rather than their mind. Mayweather was the clear favorite. Yes, he's a piece of shit. But he's a great competitor.

2nd this. Mayweather's conditioning was unparalleled. I like Pac but I didn't see this fight ending any other way.
