    Hi there.
Doing a Guys Trip to Vegas 5/27-5/30.
Thursday night we're thinking Drai's and Friday
is a coin flip between XS and Marquee.
9 trips to Vegas and never been to a club.
Is the guest list, etc. reindeer games?
Don't really want to deal with any bullshit
In terms of getting in (waiting for a long time).
We're thinking about just buying passes for
Each night and showing up early.
    Any experienced nightclub people here?
    Omnia was of consideration too.
    Chime in if possible.

Pre sale hands down. Now the trick is where.

Omnia is the new club in town and has Calvin Harris there on the 29th. $50 per guy pre sale while XS has Zedd on the same night for $30 per guy.

Have not seen Omnia, have done XS and it is a very solid party.

Personally for impact I would do Light Wednesday night with Bassjackers ($30/guy), great light show and such, Thursday Drais and XS on Friday only because I have seen Calvin Harris a few times and have not caught Zedd yet. Friday is a toss up in my mind where you can't lose.

    Hope this helps.

    It Does help. Appreciated.
Drai's on Thursday is what we're locking into.
    That Friday.....
Regardless of where we go, WHAT time is
The right time to get in line if we have presale tix?
If the club opens at 10:30, is 9 way too early?
Looking to avoid the bullshit long wait thing.
    So open to suggestions.
How do you rate Calvin Harris against the
    Rotating artists funneling throughout Vegas?

Unfortunately our group does tables at the clubs so I don't want to mislead on that scenario. I have always heard earlier is better but if it is a top name as early as possible.

My complaint about Calvin, Guetta, Tiesto is that it is primarily their songs for the 1-2 hours they are there. I appreciate what Calvin has done crossing over and such but as an EDM fan who will go to the clubs based on dj's they just check off the box for me. This is maybe why I lean more towards dj's like Stonebridge and such. Not a lot of stuff on their own that has crossed over and they are about the vibe and such when dj'ing.

I'm actually going to be there 5/29 to 6/1 and my schedule is completely different as long as it is not going to be a gambling bender with some friends. Surrender Friday night for Laidback Luke, Saturday Rehab as I got the room comped at HRH and more time for the power nap, then 3LAU Saturday night at LIFE at SLS. I have never seen 3LAU live, downloaded his sets from soundcloud and I enjoyed LBL when I saw him at Wet 2 years ago July. Rehab has been way to many years so why not. For me a party is what you make of it.

Looking at Drais that Thursday night
    And XS that Friday night.
We're seeing Fantasy Luxor our first night
That Wednesday night in Vegas and will
Get out of the show before midnight.
If Light is worth it, we might head that direction
Around midnight with the hopes of getting in by
    1am.
I'll have to check but I assume light will
Be open until 3 or 4 perhaps.

Are you sold on doing presale tickets or are you considering doing a table one night? Might be able to get a decent rate at Drai's on Thursday.

    Undecided.
We're having a meeting of the minds one night
Next week to discuss details/intentions of our getaway!
For the uninitiated, ballpark idea/guesstimate for a table at Drai's?

I'd advise you to do some research on the Jackcolton website for info on clubs. Lots of good real info and also contacts for hosts and such.

How many are you? Obviously it is nice to have a table, you'll have a home base and a waitress so you won't have to wait in line for drinks. You also won't wait in the long line to get in.

if there is a group of you, hands down get a table.

last trip there were 4 of us. Waited for hours to get into Hakkasan for Calvin Harris on Friday night,
Saturday night walked into XS for Afrojack no problem b/c we had a table. Was expensive but worth it.

honestly though, look into maybe hitting EBC or Marquee if Friday night doesn't mess you up too bad :drunk:
we enjoyed the club nights, but Avicii at Encore Beach Club in the sunshine was the best part of the weekend

Can't say but I would recommend Chris Traer at Drai's. Very straight forward guy. PM for contact info.

Funny enough, I was just looking at jackcolton's
    Website last night!
Appreciate the tips and time for those who
    Have chimed in!
We may have a 4th friend enter the arena.
If that happens, plans will advance quickly.

I thought jack Colton site was pretty good too. Until I emailed them inquiring about bottle service on different clubs. Took several days in between replies AND each time, my questions were not answered. It was irritating and then someone got back to me apologizing and asking what info it was I needed. He hasn't responded in about 6 weeks now...
