I'll be the voice of reason. Don't go on tilt while drunk. There's a reason the joints ply you with free booze.

This is awesome - you don't get this with a "after" report, only true live, haha!
You should probably listen to this ;) But doesn't meant you can't have fun! AND we are all pulling for you to win - good for you leaving poker up!

    Cheers [emoji482]

The Aria buffet is of contemporary decor, just like the Mirage but obvious another notch up :

The food selection is quite impressive, from fresh salad bar to many choices of cheese, and from steak/carving to seafood to Latin to Mediterranean to Italian to Chinese :

I had a total of 3 plates, out of what I tried :

Prime rib is as good as anywhere I have tried, chicken pot pie filling was also good. Mashed potato has skin mixed in it, which I liked.

The freshly-made fettuccini Alfredo with extra cheese and mushroom is just the way I like it, creamy and full of flavors
    [IMG]

Tandoori chicken is moist and flavorful, and the chicken curry was also good. Maybe because I am Chinese, I find the Chinese food to be disappointing. Beef and broccoli a bit too salty and hard, and fried rice was nothing to write home about.

Desserts are quite good for a buffet IMO. The flan was very well prepared and the butterscotch was just the right taste. Chocolate ice cream rich and chocolatey

Drinks are coke and freshly squeezed OJ

In summary, I find that with a price tag of $34.99 (dinner Sun-Thur), the Aria buffet is well worth the price. You get to dine in a five star hotel next to the pool. Anyone looking for a good buffet experience should give this a try. I would rate this place on par with Cosmo.

Sorry looking at my own post again I got the suits wrong (too drunk when typing it), the current sequence should be QhJs5s, turn 9h, river Jh. I had QdJd, limper had Ah10h, and button had bullets. Limper rivered his flush and button is stuck with AA. That was a very interesting and profitable hand for me.
