    Hi

Been on another pretty popular Las Vegas forum since 2007 and decided to broaden my horizons and see what else is out there. Looking forward to joining in here and reading perhaps some new perspectives. I am sure there are some same folks here. I actually found this through a link on the other mentioned LV board. P.S. Hi all.

Las Vegas History: First trip was wayyyyy back in 1978. (Okay, yep, old) Stayed at the Silver bird. I was actually a minor for being in casinos at 18 but wore my best Disco clothes and was never questioned. Came home with .67 cents in my pocket:) Only had a couple of trips then in the 80's. A few more in the 90's and the brunt of them the last ten years. I think it is at least 15 or so maybe even 20 or more. Kind of stop counting at some point.

Last trip was December '14. Getting set to plan one soon. Getting the itch. We were up to going for sure at least 2, sometimes 3 times a year but life is changing. We are starting to look for warmer places to winter and those ventures have taken some travel $ and time from Vegas trips. And yes, we did look at and consider Paradise. :) We do sneak in of course local runs and are actually going in a few weeks on a Laughlin Junket (Our 3rd, my 5th). Will be difficult to be so close to mecca and not visit yet again, but free flights gets us out of here for a bit for relief. We take a couple of junkets a year usually. Did Tunica in Feb. Laughlin is fine and Tunica, well meh, okay but like I said.... Free flights helps a lot, and we have a good time were ever we are:) Really needing a Vegas hit soon though! Have done July 4th the last 2 years so seriously considering that again. Just got a 4th stay and party invite so we'll see.

I always enjoy reading other peoples thoughts, ideals and trip reports. There is often something to learn. When I am not in Vegas, I can live vicariously through those that are there, just have been or heading out soon! The truly lucky ones!

Good luck to all us degenerates and Vegas junkies.

    Viva,
    JJ
