With the exception of Casino Royale, and the Stratosphere , does every casino on the strip have 3x, 4x, 5x odds? Know any that have better odds?

Yes, every casino on the strip has 345x. You already named the two that are on or near the strip and have better. You can go to Circus Circus for 2x odds if you want.

Um, because they don't like wagers with a low house advantage?

On a weekend night, I agree. Quite busy. And CC may be hesitant to gamble on craps, but they have a good number of good vp games, with the only positive game on the strip that I know of.

South Point is set up the same way iirc, good vp, shitty odds on craps. I don't get the reasoning behind this either.

Well it may not have the best Craps Odds but it certainly has the best Cat show I've seen. How the heck do they train those kittys to do those tricks?

That alone is worth the trip to no man's land North Strip.

They still have a bank of coin dropping dollar slots by the back bar. Three Blue 7'ss Woooo Hoooo!

I'm just guessing but I think it's a way where they can offer an overall good gambling venue for us gamblers looking for the best odds/paytables/rules, while still keeping themselves profitable.

The three Boyd properties Downtown (Fremont, Cal, MSS) offer great VP and BJ paytables and rules but crappy passline odds, (2X) except for MSS (20X). Maybe if the Cal and Fremont offered the same 20X on craps Boyd would not realize their baseline profit.

Just my opinion. Lots of people are happy and speak highly of the 3 Boyd properties and also South Point for their gambling offerings and now from what I've learned from you guys, CC also.

I think these properties have the right idea and hope they don't follow the greed of the Strip properties.
