Do any of the strip casinos serve Pabst beer ? PBR would be my beer of choice while gambling . Thanks in advance !
If you're going soon. I think the Riviera has it for $1. They close on May 4th. I just stayed there & I think I saw it on their sign.
I didn't know they still made PBR, used to be a brewery in middle GA that closed a bunch of years ago
We were playing VP at one of the bars at Harrah's last fall and I ordered a Heineken and my son ordered a PBR. The bartender said that he couldn't comp a PBR, but the Heineken was fine....go figure.
It's become quite popular over the last few years, in particular with the younger/hipster crowd. I used to enjoy it because it was a decent beer and relatively cheap. But now due to it's increased popularity the price has risen quite a bit. In fact I read an article not too long ago that had PBR as one of the fastest growing brands. I guess that blue ribbon win is finally paying dividends.
I consider myself a beer snob, but I do enjoy a PBR when I'm working in the garage or out in the yard. I thought I was the only PBR fan left. $5.28 for a sixer of tall boys! I've never seen it in a vegas casino though.
According to the last posted list at LINQ's TAG/Beer Revolution, its there for $5.25 which puts it in the "comp" list (under $9)...you may get "distracted" though by all the other choices, so be careful, you may never actually get to your PBR's.. see here: https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?117197-TAG-at-the-LINQ-comped-beers&p=1092637#post1092637
Perry GA if I recall correctly? Didn't they try to rename the town Pabst, GA? No help to the OP, but my brother and I owned a bar one block from the Pabst Brewery in Milwaukee and across the street from a large technical college. For 10 years we were the second largest seller of Pabst in Wisconsin. Second only to the student union at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Sadly, the brewery is gone and they are still trying to turn the entire property in residential/retail etc. I think Miller/Coors brews much of PBR these days.
I am 47 yrs. old now and when I was 16 Pabst was my favorite brand. Pabst used to be a major brand of beer with it's own TV commercials and everything. Remember, "I got Pabst Blue Ribbon on my mind."
Correct, southeast of Perry, halfway to Hawkinsville. They didn't stay around long enough to get the area renamed but I believe you are right that they wanted it named Pabst GA.
