Heynow Gamblers....I was just responding to danielas' post about being a gambler, going to Vegas, and not gambling and made me think.

I am a daytime gambler. At night we usually walk the Strip and explore the casinos or go to a concert.

My guess is if I was a night time player it would be way harder to go and not gamble, that looks like the biggest party time.

Do you guys tend to gamble any particular time of day, or play whenever given the chance ?

    All of the above.

I like BJ in the morning, seems much more relaxed. Craps is more fun when its busy IMO so I like that in the evenings.

Ditto the "all of the above" post.

Dinner to bedtime sees my heaviest gambling, though. During the day I play quite a bit. But I usually hop tables/machines a lot and keep loss limits lowish.

I often spread my play throughout the day.
    1-2 hours in the morning.
Hour or so before dinner and same after dinner.
Flying from East Coast so I'm usually jet lagged first couple days.
Crash early and wake up at 4am.

Usually an hour or so early in the day and then 11 pm - 4/5/6 am. Love the overnight gambling. Usually during the day I'm out and about, but that doesn't stop me from gambling if I find a machine I like in a CET casino. This seems to happen especially when I'm around Planet Hollywood, love their slots

I tend to not be in the casino in the evening, either due to dining or other entertainment or other stuff. I really like to be there in the daytime and overnight.

I'm pretty much a 5-8 p.m. type when I do decide to play some VP. I like to return from a day full of meetings, shower-up and change... head down have a few cocktails and relax at the VP machine. Then off for some dinner and generally off to the room pretty early, as I either have more meetings the next day of fly back home.

If I'm only there 2-3 days I will gamble from 9am to midnight, stopping for mid afternoon meal. If staying longer it's usually 10am to 10 pm

Usually as soon as I wake up and find breakfast I will sit down and play VP or BJ for a couple hours until my wife wakes up. Then again later in the day/evening after dinner. Sometimes the middle of the night.

I like to play table games. Will play anytime I feel the vib and table is right for me. Love to play craps at night when the action is better and a lot more fun but will play if I walk by a table and it looks interesting. If there is nothing exciting going on I will go play slots with the wife...

All depends on how im feeling. Some days I like an early quieter session, fresh mind and got the whole day ahead of me. But evening sessions are usually more fun and drunken.

I pretty much have three distinct time periods for gambling...
    6 to 10 AM
    11AM to 3PM
    5PM to 11PM

Those gaps between sessions represent meal and travel times.
I've been known to gamble after 11PM, but that usually means I'm drunk and ought not be doing so...

Typical I play 6-7 hours throughout the day.

By far and away, my favorite time to play is between 6:00 am and 10:00 am for 2-3 hours.

I do most of my gambling after dinner, in the casino where I'm staying.
