August 21-28 price hike?

    I just checked the prices at Flamingo for Aug 21-28 and they have doubled!! Is there something going on that weekend that I don't know about? Or is this just the cycle of hotel prices? We're already booked for a skookum deal, but Im hoping to avoid any big events.
