never seen a direct connection with too tall and 7, unless
its a crazy shooter that's going over every other roll

Last trip was my first time playing craps, but I put in 10 hours at least and the 1 thing that happened that really turned the table was the drunk guy that kept holding his drink over the rail. He was told firmly about 3 times to not do this which were followed by some crushing rolls. But the worst one was a guy was rolling for about 30 minutes and he dropped his glass on the table. It was pretty much empty except ice but we had to delay to clean the table. Which was followed by a 7 out. And next 2 rollers did horribly. They let him keep playing at the table so I left. But from this experience if someone drops or spills anything on the table, I will probably just leave.

    Asshat creating a scene
    Wife call/text

Honestly during the epic roll with Nate last trip we had dice off table many times, buy in mid roll, dice hit chips, dice hitting people, lots of stick changes and the roll kept going.

Asshat creating a scene is definitely a downer for any table. Sometimes when I'm shooting the stickman would hand me the dice and there is always somebody :grrr: on the other end either posting a late bet or taking his time picking up his chips. I purposely aim for his hands ( I don't wait) and get a chuckle when the stickman yells "Watch your hands, dice are out!!". It's amazing how they do the Bruce Lee moves to get their hands out of the way, lol!!

Anything that messes with the flow.

    1. Dice hitting hands
    2. Late bets.....especially when it's some goof buying in for $20 at a time to play the field
    3. Someone trying to color up in the middle of a roll or buying in
    4. Shooter hitting all the chips on the centre bets

    Experience says:

Dice hitting hands...usually someone betting the field, late...

The shooter's SO walks up asking, "Are you winning?"

Counting your chips before the end of the roll, ugh..

After playing last night, I have something else that ruins the table.

I'm playing in Palm Springs at Agua Caliente, they use dice and six cards. I had to run to the bathroom but left my pass line bet out between shooters. I came back and saw that the point was six. I quickly dropped max odds before the dice left the shooters hand. The point hit, and they called no bet for me.

It was a bad call, I obviously expressed my dissatisfaction. The table went down after that call though and I left after that shooter.

I agree with everyone of the bad things but like shifter the best roll that I have ever been on everything that we are mentioning happened.
    People buying in during roll
    arguing payout
    dice off table
getting mad and coloring up during roll
    and everything else mentioned here.

Also if it hasn't been mentioned people coming up and wanting you to explain the game to them

    Dice. Hitting. Chips
If someone not playing should mention The Number With No Name.

I should have included someone saying 7 aloud and the dispute at the table in the original list. I have attempted to explain the game without saying 7 many times. I have also allowed minor dealer mistakes instead of risking a disruption to the table.

When I do not have money invested in the game, and the logical part of my brain is engaged (it is a small part and does frequently become disconnected for extended periods), I think these are all purely superstitious nonsense. Why else would we feel the need to justify the single most likely total of two dice?

Buying in mid-roll is a major pet-peeve more than anything, ESPECIALLY if they buy in with fifties.....might as well just color up and leave

I have far more patience for dice hitting chips,, hands, etc. Accidents happen, hell, monkeys fall out of trees from time to time. But buying in mid-roll is a major assclown move.

I am not very superstitious but I know some people are and I don't want to be the guy that pisses off the people that are. Before my last Vegas trip I went to the bank to withdraw money for the trip. They didn't have enough $100 bills for my withdrawal so the teller asked if she could give me a few thousand in $50 bills, without thinking I said sure no problem. As I was driving out of the bank parking lot I thought to myself SHIT I can't bring all of those $50 bills to Vegas and get the evil eye when I tried to use them to buy in. So I drove to a different branch of the bank to exchange the 50's for 100's. It ended up being a winning trip.

Lol, yeah, I don't get the fifties thing, but I know I'll never drop less than a Benjamin to the dealer, lest I be scorned and detested!

I don't know what it is, but I know LV casinos won't even give you 50's, and it seems harder to get rid of 50's anywhere, than hundreds. Stores seem to dislike taking them, I guess because there's no slot for them (which is why they HATE $2 bills even more) and it just seems when you use a fifty, everything goes to hell.

I won't even touch them in a casino, I have dropped a handpay on the floor because they had a fifty in it (and I said "no 50's" and the guy assured me they "never give out 50's.")

    50's are bad ju-ju and I don't know why
