I have slowly become a shopping enthusiast, bordering on obsession. :rolleyes2:

    Are you shopping in Vegas?

What are your favorite places to shop in Vegas? What are you buying?

I normally spend some time each trip shopping. I like to look for stores we don't have in Minnesota, and some of the stores we do have here like Nordstrom carry different merchandise in LV.

I like checking out the different malls - Fashion Show is probably my favorite, but I will also check out Forum Shops and Grand Canal Shoppes most every trip too. My favorite things to shop for are shoes, makeup (the Sephora at the Venetian is a bit bigger than ones I have near home) and lingerie.

Although this trip, I'm also going to be looking for jeans. My 22 year old is telling me I need to try some skinny jeans. We'll see.

    What about you sco?

Nothing special. Other than the Beef Jerky Store downtown and Jinju Chocolates at Container park, there's nothing I can't get equally priced or cheaper at home.

I usually make stops at Barney's New York in Palazzo, Paul Smith in Crystals, and Scoop NYC in the Forum Shops. Scoop is a great place to shop for jeans. If I'm not shopped out by then I'll hit Ted Baker in the Forum, as well as the Tod's if I'm looking for shoes and didn't like anything at Barney's.

    Hookers and blow?

NA, I don't like to shop at home and the only things I get in Vegas are a few souvenirs for the kids, maybe a good pair of sun glasses if I feel the need while I am there.

I usually end up buying a new pair of sunglasses because I leave them somewhere. Seriously considering bringing a $15 target pair this trip (or two) - at least for when I start drinking, haha.

Did buy a nice (unnecessary) Tumi carry-on suitcase at forum shops last time, other than that I only really hit walgreens for whatever I need that I didn't bring.

I would like to check out container park one of these upcoming trips.

For shopping aficionados, there are definitely a lot of choices for all budgets.

Jewelry, shoes, clothes if I'm in the mood to shop. One trip I bought the cutest dog bed shaped like a convertible. Our pups love it!

I really like the Forum Shops at Caesars. Peter Lik gallery, H&M and Hugo Boss - each trip I get a sport coat there.

Used to really love shopping at H&M before my hometown got one. Now, I like Napoleon's at the PHo shops

lol...this has been my case on a few occasions last year. I had one trip last year where I ended up buying sunglasses 3 times because I couldn't decide which glasses I wanted and just ended up going back three times and buying all three...two Persol and one Ray Ban. Once I got home, I ended up getting a pair of Oakleys and the Persols and Ray Ban are probably still in the suit case...total waste of money...lol.

Part of Vegas for me is buying myself little special treats; jewellery-accessories, purses, cosmetics, skin care, Vegas t-shirts for pj use at home, gifts for my sister in law (the one that appreciates me) and neighbour because she takes care of the cats for us and also loves the gifts I bring her, over the counter medications from Mexico, going crazy at my fav dollar store of all times Big Dollar and stores I wouldn't normally be able to get to like the bracelet I got from Fred Segal at SLS.
