There's a buy 1/get 1 coupon in the LVA book and we have one evening without plans on where to eat. I know some of you have said that their breakfast buffet is good, but has anyone had their dinner buffet? I don't expect Caesars quality for $10.00 but I'd be OK with it if it's similar to Gold Coast or downtown buffets. Any comments?

While it doesn't have as many selections as Gold Coast and is considerably smaller, SS is satisfactory for a twofer. It's also a bit of downgrade compared to DT buffets.
However, SS has been refurbished and is improved. I ate there a couple months ago on the the same coupon and was satisfied.
But, there are many other 2-1 buffet coupons in the LVA book that I would use ahead of SS, that aren't that much more expensive and somewhat close to the Strip, such as Arizona Charlies, Boulder, Fremont and Palace.

    Thanks, Chef.

For logistic purposes, Silver Sevens would suit our needs better than the others you mentioned.

Give it a whirl then. For $5/head, what do you have to lose.

I ate there for lunch last month only because the service in the restaurant was taking so long. It was just ok. A pretty small buffet and not a very big selection. Service was better than at the restaurant. It was free so i couldn't beat that.

OK food is acceptable for $10.00, but we really dislike wasting stomach space on bad food.

We ate a couple years ago. Agree, small & basic, but tasty. Salad, fruit, shrimp--good for free, or BOGO.

One of the worse ever for breakfast...terrible if it was free.

Just go to the small café on the same level right next door and get the deuces wild breakfast which isn't on the menu, but will be under $10 for two.

At the Silver Sevens? When you get time add a bit more details on what they offer.

Yes, Silver Sevens breakfast buffet only $6.99. I remember seeing flavored scrambled eggs, waffles (you could add strawberry sauce or whipped cream), plain pancakes, pre-rolled pancakes with blueberries, bacon, sausage, cereals, hash browns, fresh fruit, croissants and other breakfast pastries, and made to order waffles. Very good!

    We took the 202 bus.
