We are not frequent flyers so we have no experience with the TSA regulations. I am a bit confused after reading their disposable lighter regulations....
We are going to Las Vegas this Sunday, SWA out of Baltimore. My wife is a smoker. Can she carry a disposable lighter onto the plane either in her carry on or pocket?

I've gotten torch lighters for my cigars thru TSA multiple times but I'm not sure if they're really allowed..

She can carry more than 1 while going thru security, it wont be a problem. I always carry 2-3 in my pockets incase I lose 1.

be sure it's a cheapy in case an agent decides you can't have it. I usually just buy one at Walgreens once i arrive.

You'll be fine... unless a TSA goon decides they need a lighter.

They don't usually care, but be prepared to lose all but 1 if your TSA agent has a bee in his/her bonnet. You probably will have more issues leaving than arriving, if my experience is the norm.

I always carry two, and never had a problem, either coming or going.

Not a problem--I usually have one in my cigarette case and another in my purse and have never had it questioned.
Hope you have a great trip:beer:

I havent had a problem bringing lighters on the plane. I keep one in my purse and put one in the outside pocket of my suitcase just incase they take the one in my purse.
