Does anyone know a sports book where they might have odds up for the first round? Would love to our some money on my Canucks against the Flames but don't see it posted on the north strip at least. Leaving very early tomorrow morning unfortunately.

I'm guessing the canucks will be heavy heavy favorites but will make the 4 games a little more interesting ;-)

I would love to know too, as the Wild will be playing 1st round against the Blues while I'm in Vegas.

Sadly, if they make it past the Blues I don't expect they will make it past the Blackhawks in Round 2 though. Although the Blackhawks are my back-up team as I'm originally from IL.

    GO WILD!!

I am a huge Hawks fan and hate the Blues so Go Wild!

To be honest though I am less fearful of the Blues than the Wild if the Hawks make it out of round 1.

I do think this year's team is better than the 2013 team that lost to the Blackhawks. But I think it would be a fun to watch series either way.

Just know that my adopted home state is desperate for a Stanley Cup as people here are pretty hockey crazy.

True, I just wasn't as heartbroken about it last year.

It sometimes sort of feels like rooting for the Cubs if you know what I mean.

I don't my team wins a world series at least once every hundred years.. :poke:

See I thought they had a better shot in 2014 than 2013.. less points (projected over a full season) but much tougher competition.

Either way I am glad the Hawks fell where they did, instead of having to face the Wild round 1....

But Smashville :rolleyes2: will be tough. I saw Rinne in 08 up close in the AHL... he is a great goalie.. and HUGE... it shocked me how big he was. All goalies are big, no more tiny Darren Pangs out there...

crazy indeed... just look at ticket prices for Monday in St. Paul vs. St. Louis tomorrow, I was considering going down there as it would be such a better value (plus road tripping with the Wild is fun in general)

I'm a diehard Flyers and NHL fan. I watch at least 7 or 8 games a week. Not too many West Coast teams unless they are on East Coast road trips. I have been an NHL regular since 1968. I had a Flyers season ticket from 1970 to 1982.

I have established my creds and here is my pick - New York Rangers.

I hear Mirage has a nice book. There is also Lagasse's Stadium at Venetian if you are looking for food to watch the game.

While not really a book, there is book and stage at Cosmo play some shitty VP and get some drinks! They had the Hawks game on in Jan, but I don't know if they would play a hockey game if there is an NBA game on....

I watched the first two periods last night, great road game by the Wild last night.

Agree with that, Wild dominated the Blues last night. There's no easy competition but the Wild are definately a team on the rise.

Thanks, I think Mirage could work as I was planning to head to Fashion Show after my session at the gym tomorrow.
