On my last trip I noticed I would be standing in the middle of a casino, wanting to take a break from gambling, but I could not remember what I had read about must have drinks or were to get them. I love craft cocktails and girly drinks. I'm hoping you guys could help me out so I can put the list in my phone. I'm looking for both strip and downtown bars. Thanks!

    So I know:

    Cosmopolitan: Verbena: Chandelier Bar

Wynncore: Sinatra Smash: Anywhere in the casino

    Bellagio: Bellagio Cocktail: Lilly Bar

One can't-miss drink for me is the Jose's Gin and Tonic at Jaleo. Worth every penny of $20.

For me, it was "eh, another gin and tonic" but their presentation was awesome.

I'd throw out a vote for the Tennessee Highball at Bellagio.

I really love the cosmos at Cosmopolitan. They're not a typical cosmo, it's Hangar One Mandarin Blossom vodka, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, lemon juice, white cranberry juice and homemade cranberry syrup finished with a candied blood orange. Delicious!

I haven't tried it yet but I'm dying to get the gumdrop martini at Fix in Bellagio. It has to be the girliest looking of them all!

For some old Vegas vibes, head to the bar at the Peppermill and order one of their ice cream drinks. My favorite is the Scorpion.

You already have the verbena drink on your list, so that is good. These are another 2 of my faves:\

    Wynn - Parasol Down/Lake of Dreams: Pear-A-Sol
Mandarin Oriental - Mandarin Bar: Eastern Drop

    You know, I can't believe I didn't mention these before ...

At Bouchon, I love the Corpse Reviver #2. My breakfast drink in Vegas. Also, they make a killer French 75. Both great first-thing in the morning to bring you back for another day!

Sorry to hijack a little, just wondering if anyone has tried the Vesper Martini at Vesper Bar at Cosmo? The Bond obsessed girl in me wants to try it even though I'm normally not a big martini drinker.

Although as discussed in a previous thread sitting at a bar alone may not be the best idea even though I would be buying my own drink.

I have had the Vesper at Vesper Bar! It's very good and well worth getting. That's one of our favorite people-watching spots in town. The comings and goings of people to Marquee is hysterically funny. And the steep escalator? Well, let's just say if you get a seat along the edge of it you can find out who's modest and not.

Thanks, I will add it to my to-do list for this trip.

People watching sounds fun, the escalator might be TMI for me.

The over-share is all the people who go up to Marquee. I mean. Seriously people. Have some sense.

You know, I honestly don't know ... the seats where the viewing is good are along the edge, kind of tucked away near the entrances of the bar. So no VP machines around them. But it's a great, great way to just unwind.

Ah... call me sick but I'd prefer Video Poker! Hahaha...

That seems for sure one of those "only in Vegas spots"

Thanks... I will add this to my list.

I usually forget to ask for "special" drinks and just get bourbon with a splash of coke or beer....
