I had this happen once. They just never charged my card for some reason.

My host told me about it next time I called to book. Yes you will have to clear it up before you stay there again. I assume they will also send it to collections if you wait too long.

I'm kinda curious how this went? You went down to check-out and they asked if you'd like to leave the balance on the card... it came back declined... and you said, "well I'm in a hurry... gotta go."

Ahhhhh... for sure they'd know if it's unsettled by next visit... settle it up

I would not be surprised if they did not try the card at least two or three more times. I know when Golden Nugget thought I had unsettled charges they charged me a week or two after I got home and I had to dispute and show receipts for the charges they charged me for when I checked out.

Don't they have enough info to essentially send you a bill?
Even if the credit card is cancelled the address associated with it is still valid.

Dude I have a gambling problem but always settle my bill. Call them to apologize and give them a different card number.

I'm having a very hard time understanding how this wasn't the OP's first move upon returning home.

The OP "redacted" his post so either he took care of it, feels beat up over the replies, intended to scam the hotel or this post is just BS.
