According to someone in the Five Hundy by Midnight Facebook group, Caesars properties have lowered all pay tables, at least at the .25 level. At the bars, it is now 7/5 and on the casino floor 8/5.

The one bank at Ballys were 9/6 but were soon lowered.

All of the 7/5 Ult-X are now 6/5 as well.

Yeah the downgrade has been slowly been going on since early last month. Did the guy posting that claim to check all CET casinos?

As of last week, the linq bars were still at 8/5 DDB. Been trying to keep an eye on TRs here.

Yeah I noticed that too. :( 9/5 JoB w/Double STP (98.95%) is the best dollar game at Harrahs/flamingo now.

I just got back yesterday. I checked most CET bar tops and all are 7/5 for DDB except TAG which is still 8/5. I like to play three hand Bonus STP and I found a couple All Star II machines by Gustavs bar at Paris that were 7/5. I played at Ballys the week before and most were 7/5. They are all 6/5 now.

Did you happen to notice if the 7/5 TB+ was still on the machines, or is that gone also?

I didn't check TB+. I only checked DDB and Bonus.

The only CET machine I play in Vegas is the 9/5 JOB $1 3/5 line in PHo's HL Room. I'd consider the 8/5 $1 BP at Rio (the multiline versions have $25 or $50 per point comp rates). If they pull the PHo machine, I'll just use my comps in 2015 and perhaps play poker or a little BJ for my three comped stays the rest of this year, and use the diamond lounge every year. I like the 9/6 JOB machines in Tahoe.

When the bartops get downgraded triple bonus plus ceases to exist unfortunately because even 6/5 (96.62%) is too good of a game for them apparently now. I'm pissed at how much I played that game and never got four Aces, 2s, 3s, or 4s.

Best games on the downgraded bartops are:

    30/6/5 Bonus (96.18%)
    7/5 DDB (95.71%)

This is terrible but not surprising news. Will update the list later tonight. Right now coming back from tunica were there still is 9/6 JoB for quarters at the bar.

This brings them in line with Cosmo's bar's correct?

Does CET not allow the individual casinos to make the decisions regarding this? It seems like MGM the paytables vary at the bars, where CET it is all the same.

You'd think the lower end properties would want to get people in the place with better payouts vs the newer places people are going to go to no matter what.

Nah cosmo is better now. They have "traditional" 6/5 Bonus (96.87%) and 8/5 DDB (96.79%) for quarters.

Vpfree2 lists 9/5 JoB (98.45%) in HL room for dollars, not a bartop obviously. Those still exist?

Caesars is committing to vacationers not gamers. Evident by these pay tables. I've pretty much written off CET for any of my needs. Does it really matter to most? Those who are serious VP players are playing downtown or out in the valley.

The Great Caesars Gutting continues... according to vpfree, Harrah's and Bally's already dismal BP progressive quarter machines have been downgraded. I don't know the inventory but from the long list of affected machines it stinks of an across the board lowering. Maybe they aim to make up 25 Billion really quickly this way?

We're serious VP players and like to split our time 2 - 1 between the Strip and DT. It's a vacation where I'm spending a lot of money so like the amenities of the Strip.

I can gamble in Canada with no tax impact and get 9/6 DDB on dollars.

This downgrade may be a major change in our vacation plans, i.e. not just less Strip, less Vegas.

I fear many will endorse your approach as CET continues top spiral down. The management there seems to care less about the gambler and more about the 20 something club goer.
