    My Trip Report

Heading to LV tonight, flying in from Houston of all places. Was here for some business.

    1. Cosmo 500k bac tournament on 4/10

    2. Maybe make the Aria bac tournament on 4/18

    3. Going to try PT's roulette strategy with some alterations if he doesn't mind posting it again.

    4. Play some heavy action bac with sailboat and other VMB people

    5. Generally relax after a busy week with work. Plans are flexible can leave anytime...have 1m line at Cosmo (they made me take this much to guarantee reserved tables) and 500k at MGM (own money so one unhappy move and I'm going home)

    6. Play more slots, I know I know, but I find it fun...

Hi Nate, here is the roulette strategy.

Find a single zero roulette table in the high limit area that plays European rules. The minimum is usually at least $100 bet.
I bet 3 units on the 1-18 or 19-36 (which pays 1 to 1) and 1 unit to cover another section of six numbers (called a single street bet, which pays 5 to 1).
This way I cover 2/3rds of the table (24 out of 36 numbers, and excluding the zero).
    If I win, I win 2 units (5 minus 3 = 2 units, or 3 minus 1 = 2 units).
If I lose because an uncovered number hits, I lose all 4 units.
If the zero hits, I lose the 1 unit on the single-street bet, but only HALF of the 3 units on the 1-18 or 19-36 outside bet.
So instead of losing all 4 units, I only lose 2.5 units, when the zero shows up.
This works out to a house edge of 1.6875%.
Basically I am betting 4 units to win 2 units, and I expect to win 2 out of 3 spins (not counting the zero).
    That is the basic strategy.

Then I add the Martingale component.
If I lose, I TRIPLE my bet and hope I don't lose twice in a row.
So I bet 9 units on the outside 1-18 or 19-36, and 3 units on another 6 numbers, the single street bet.
If I lose again, I will triple up again, so now at 9 and 27 units.

Good luck, and let me know if you have questions.

    good luck!
don't you get super screwed tax withholding wise on the slots? I know you are just playing for fun, but it would suck to hit a huge one and lose 30% off the top if you can't get it back..

Yes but I play it for fun for small amounts (less than 1 bac bet) and if I happen to hit a big progressive or something, happy to pay it...

Yay! Glad to see any type of Natedogg trip report. I was starting to go through withdrawls here at the office, after the recent home run reports by Packer, PayTriple, PPHold, etc.

Ok so now I need to figure out how to alter it to focus on the 17 and 20. Basically the way I bet now I bet the 17 and 20 neighbors (2 left and 2 right) so that any hit on those eight numbers basically breaks me even or small loss. So I'm covering about 15 numbers but really heavy on 17 and 20.

Just an idea, play black outside instead of 1-18 /. 19 - 36. I believe all your neighbor bets are red so there are your 6 numbers in addition to your black outside bet. Hopefully hit 17 and 20 alot and all this will not matter

    Good Luck Win Big $$$$$

Ok so now I need to figure out how to alter it your playing 24 numbers-you have to make your unit size devideabe by 6.you play 18 units on BIG or SMALL .the six units left are played on the opposite size 1 unit streight up on 6 numbers--example 18 quarters on 19-36.1 quarter on 1-2-3-16-17-18ect.

Let's see if memory serves me, all six out of my eight numbers on board are red (except 17 and 20). 4 out of 8 neighbors are red, with one repeat to the one on board.

Good luck! Try Jade Cat in Mirage High Limit. Won over $8,000 on a $100 spin there once.
