I will be at the Grand Canyon this month and am considering making a stop over in Vegas with a couple buddies to try the CET "Diamond in a Day" promotion. I often play lots of video blackjack but they give out TCs @ $45/point, so it looks like I'll be headed to the tables. So, how long would it take me to make diamond while playing blackjack? I haven't found anything clear on how dollars bet converts into TCs. Can someone enlighten me? And my second question would be: How long does it take for Caesars to send me the certificates for my 4 free nights? Thanks. PS Do they have any system limits on the number of cards in the machine at a time? I'll have 3 buddies with me and they'll probably be playing slots on my card to help the effort. Any potential issues there?
There are no physical certificates for 4 free nights. 4 free nights are a part of Diamond aspirations 1 at 40,000 tier credits. If you make Diamond in a day ( 5k tier credits with 10k bonus ), you would have generated a fair bit of theo. The theo alone would probably get you offers for comp nights. What would your average bet be? I would think your average bet would have to be fairly large to get to DIAD since the house advantage is so small in BJ.
The 4 free nights thing is a bit of a joke around here. Anyone that plays at even half that level gets pretty much all the free nights they want. Just log in and book em.
Ditto to what nostreehere said. Im platinum and I'm getting 5 nights comped during the fight weekend (4/29-5/4) at Ballys. Hopefully you have other reasosn for doing DIAD!! And I just did 5 nights comped at Ballys 3/19-24 for the March Madness weekend (plus 2 comps wristbands for 4 days for the Hoops on the Strip party at Planet Hollywood)
1.) Believe me, at $45 per TC on those video BJ machines..if they have decent rules (3:2 BJ, RSA, S17), then it's probably easier that way... If you wanted to get DIAD playing JUST BJ (at the tables) then plan on at least 8 hours with a $100 average (Probably more than $100 average; but I'm just saying) 2.) As others have said, there's no "phsyical" certificates for those "4 free nights" (and like others have said, that's part of the Diamond Aspirations Level 1, rather than just 15k TC Diamond) 3.) No problem with having others play on your card in an attempt to get DIAD... Personally, if you REALLY wanted to do it; I'd stick to $1 slots (and have all your buddies play $1 slots also). With 3 people playing $1 slots, it'd take a couple hours... But realistically, unless you get LUCKY, those "free nights" are going to end up costing you quite a bit, LOL.
The reason is I have lots of people that want to come to Vegas with me and good room comps are useful for that type of stuff. But it sounds like they are liberal enough with rooms that those 4 nights won't matter much.
Diamond in a day playing blackjack? The amount of tier credits you earn is fairly close to your average bet per hour. If you have a $500 average bet it will take you 9 or 10 hours of blackjack to get it.
Are you referring to the 4 free nights as the 2 coupons of 2 nights they give you that you can give to others as a gift? Not sure what triggers those or how they determine what casino they're for. I got mine in December I think. Everyone is right though. Rooms are based on ADT so chances are if you hit Diamond in a day, you'll get mid week and probably weekend comps everywhere except cromwell and NOBU. Of course, you need to maintain a high adt on subsequent trips to keep getting the comps. They're not based on just being diamond.
from much experiance if your going to do this. make sure the pit boss is paying attention to you...they all deal with many people so he may swing around periodically and see you miss a hand because you were at the atm or something to that nature I done the diamond in a day probally 5-6 time last year off of roullette. one night I managed almost 15k points before the 10k point bonus was added. i was in almost $5k and played between $500-$1000 a spin with $25 chips...after struggling 4-5 hours i managed to turn it into $15K and go home...pit boss kept checking on me and rated me right i been in another time and played for several hours with betting the same style, less buy in and barely made 1,500 tier points the machines have you down for what you do, the pit boss does not always get you right so stay on him... and with table games they look at how much you buy in for/ how much you bet average/ how long you play
Some time ago my research/calculations led me to believe that $1.00 of theo generated 2 TC. So, (10 hrs.) * (80 decisions/hr) * ($625 avg. bet) * (.005 HA) = 2,500 theo or 5,000 TC. YMMV
Another bit of advice. If u are gonna play table games then have your buddies stop playing on the Machines. Some casinos ie Orleans can tell if your card is in action somewhere else when they swipe u in. I'm not sure if it's the same case at CET but I'd hate for u to get screwed. Lastly timspeed is right on. Machines don't lie. Pit bosses can be lazy and very nonchalant. Plus if u catch them on a bad day..
Damn. At $500/$700 a roll, you may be better off just paying for your friends room for 2/4 nights. Or get 2 of them to play on 1 persons card. I made platinum in 4 days at Ballys last March. 2 days I hit the 1k TC's and got the 1k bonus TC's and 1 day I hit 500 and got the 125 bonus TC = 4,675 Tier credits. The other 2 days I filled in the rest for a total of 6,393 (April 15th I pick up the 50%, 3196 TC's, before April 1st bonus too)
