MyVegas Redemption was denied — what do I do now?

    Hey guys, I just purchased a 1-free night at Red Rock midweek for a day and called the number. The lady was very nice on the phone, but told me the redemption dates for Stations casinos ends on June 30.

    I've already bought the reward, so do I hang onto the reward and see if they extend the dates? What happens if they don't extend the dates, am I out the 150,000 LPs?

    Confused.

    Since you haven't redeemed the award yet (ie you haven't actually booked a room reservation), you can return the award to get your lp refunded i believe. Then, you can re purchase the award if and when dates get extended.

    That might be the only option. This lady said she wasn't sure if they'd extend them or not. I'm thinking I should just cancel the reward?

    Before you cancel, you could always try emailing customer service through MyVegas and asking if the reward will be extended. The only way you would lose the 150,000 points is if you had actually booked the room (you can't get a refund once you do) or don't use it within 90 days. If might be worth it to ask MyVegas directly and then make a decision.

    I haven't canceled yet and I emailed myVegas earlier today. Will advise the board if I get any information back. Thanks for the replies!

    25 hours an no reply. I'm sure they are busy, though.
