    My Trip Report

First leg of today's flight to Reno is over as wife and I have landed in Chicago. We are spending next 2 nights at the Peppermill before flying to Vegas and staying at the Bellagio for 2 nights as well and flying back home to Columbus on Friday. Got a new iPhone 6 and wanted to try out the time lapse video. Below is our 53 min flight from takeoff to landing in about 30 seconds. I thought it was kind of cool.

Thanks abrolsma! I think I'll try it again on the Reno to Vegas leg. Wife was skeptical at first but said I should do it again haha

It looks awesome. Enough to get me to consider going back to the iPhone from my Galaxy. I've always loved flying and got a kick out of the flaps being lowered foe landing. I think the view of the wing makes this video.

Cool video! Did you have to hold the phone in the same position the whole flight or did you just prop it on the window sill?

    Thanks major and whu!

Haha no I didn't have to hold it. Propped it in the window and pulled the cover over it so I never had to dick around with it except when the wife wanted to see out the window. It was quite convenient.

Have a few more ideas for the time lapse as well as slow motion.

    Nice room!
That's one thing that Pepps DOES have above everyone else in town...that Tuscany tower is UNBEATABLE!
They used to have an awesome bar too, which was completely enclosed in a fish tank (All four walls were fishtanks), but alas they took it out, in favor of the Pub Grub place

Thanks Tim and smart. Sitting at a bartop w the wife playing not the best video poker and video blackjack. Trying to talk her into real blackjack tables as she drinks her hot chocolate beverage. I'm almost afraid to post these as I'm not the most savvy VP person and I like any excuse to gamble with the wife.

Ha! When it's all said and done, quality time with the wife trumps any VP pay-table (well... most of 'em!) Have a BLAST!!!

7 vodka tonics in and enjoying some single deck blackjack. More than an hour in and I'm breaking even on some choppy ass shoes

Forgot to post some food pictures from Biscottis restaurant. Was a decent bone in ribeye, wedge salad and prime rib dip sandwich

I really should give Peppermill some play. I'm such an Atlantis homer and too lazy to schlep myself a few blocks. Good luck on the rest of your trip.
