    Hi Folks
I'll be visiting next week, staying downtown as usual (been visiting at least 4 or 5 times a year for the last 10 years) but want to spend some time "somewhere else" that isn't downtown or the strip. I won't have a car but I'd like to go to an area that's fairly easy to get to from downtown by either cab or bus and where there a different casinos within walking distance to each other, I tend to get bored easily and like to hop around from casino to casino. Would either North Las Vegas or the Boulder Strip be decent options?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the Boulder strip would be better. More casinos to choose from, BHX bus service etc. Consider splitting your trip and staying at Sam's town for a couple days. If you have history with BConnected from downtown you may be able to get a good rate. I also like Sunset Station a lot.

You could stay at Texas Station/Fiesta in NLV. Not a real good vibe with that, area isn't so good. You could stay farther north in NLV at the Cannery, Santa Fe Station or even Aliante but you can't walk from casino to casino up there.
I would recommend Boulder Hwy. You could get very good rates at Sam's Town. Other casinos are right along Bldr Hwy...Boulder Station, East Side Cannery (both very good casinos), Longhorn, Skyline and others. Some are a good walk away and some are a bus ride away (get a day pass). Sam's Town also has a shuttle that you can take to other destinations.

Without a car, I'd suggest the following to hit up multiple casinos (beyond the Strip and Downtown).

    1. Take the Boulder Express Bus to hit Sam's Town, Eastside Cannery and Longhorn which are all real close to each other near Flamingo. If you don't mind multiple stops you can get off
before to hit Arizona Charlies and / or Boulder Station. Boyd has a free shuttle to Sam's Town you can pick up at The California or Fremont.

    2. You can reach Rancho Drive to hit Sante Fe and Fiesta Rancho via the 106.

    3. You can hit the Suncoast and Rampart via the Wax (short cab to hit Red Rock).
