    Like anything in life,

the cheapest is rarely the best

and the best is never the cheapest.

If you have monorail passes you could take that to SLS and cab it from there.

I did the Pawn Stars tour from Ballys...about $60

we hit the shark tank thing, then the Pawn Stars place, then Counts which was pretty cool, but if ya have to pee, there is no toilet..grrr, then we went downtown to johnnys toy shack and some card memorablia place.....

next time i will go to the american restoration place.... and bring them a 12 pack.

ps. if you don't want the tour ,npom has a good idea there.

Rental car. Easy to get to all 3 places. Go during day time. Rough looking neighborhoods at night.

Counts is on a funny little street Under the freeway interchange. We got alittle lost but eventually found it.
Buildings are kind of in the back. Very casual.
Just park & walk in the showroom. Theres a gift shop in there, and you can walk around Counts cars.
Lots of purple, if you like purple.

If there is five of you then taking a taxi is probably your best way: it'll probably cost around $20-25 to get there from MGM Grand.

Then another $20-25 to get back.

That is IF you can find a Taxi.

    Counts is kinda remote.

Rental car for a day, cheapest. and can visit all those places.

I've been meaning to go here and I think I'll get there in May. I enjoy the show. I did get to Rick's last year, that was a blast, highly recommended.

I have been there twice, last year it was part of the Pawn Stars tour, and first time I went I was stopping at the Stratosphere , I got a taxi there and I actually walked it back to The STRAT , is a good place to visit if you like the show or you just like nice cars. You also have more of a chance of seeing some guys off the show, I have seen Roli and Horny Mike on my two visits.

I can actually get a car for the day for free...I'm a travel agent. ..so that's probably the best plan! I just didn't want the hassle of having to go back to the airport to get it and drop it off.

You can get rentals all around at hotels. Never stayed there but I assume MGM has a car rental company on site.

Stop in to American Restorations (Rick's). They have a nice little free tour and you get to see all the guys at work.

I did the Annie Bananie tour last year and thought it was great. It was $55-ish a ticket and we saw Pawn Stars, American Restoration, Kounts Kustums, the toy shop on freement, the sports place on freemont and then there was the option to go to the fish tank place but I got off the bus before then. I saw none of the Pawn Stars guys, ALL of the ricks people (though Rick wasn't friendly and wouldn't do pictures or anything) and Roli at Kounts

Yeah it's kind of like being at the zoo, looking in the glass windows of each room :) For $65 (for your party, not each) you get a behind the scenes tour that includes both boneyards. Bretly gives ikt if he's available. Highly recommended, no time limit, take all the pics you want (you can't take pics on the free tour).
