On our next trip to Vegas we are planning to spend an evening taking in the sights that Freemont has to offer. Currently on our list of restaurants is 1 buffet (most likely going to be WS), Scarpettas, and 1 steakhouse (pry going to be The Steakhouse at CC). How does one narrow down the list of never ending places to eat. We are a group of 4. 2 in mid to late 20's and 2 in mid to late 50's. Price isn't necessarily a problem, just want to round out our list with something awesome. So when on Fremont which is your favorite and why? Hugo's Cellar, Andiamos, Binions...how do you choose?

Andiamos is pretty awesome. I'm sure Pizza Rock isn't really what you're looking for, but it's also awesome.

Redwood inside Cal and Second St inside Fremont are two good mid-price options.

Redwood Grill at the Cal or (if you like good beer) 777 Brewpub at Main Street Station would get my votes. :)

I've never had a bad meal @ Hugo's Cellar. Or the Triple George for that matter...

The Triple George is fantastic. I have been there for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. I plan to try out Andiamo next week.

+1. Just off of Fremont, next to Pizza Rock across from DTG. Nice atmosphere, great food, outstanding service.

If you like seafood, I would suggest the Chart House at the Golden Nugget. Everything we have eaten there has been very good and you won't have to get all dressed up!

    Seconded. Nice choice, refreshing atmosphere.

Skip Binion's butterknife steakhouse and go for Hugo's instead. (Haven't been to Andiamo's.)

Vic and Anthony's should be considered as well (haven't eaten there yet either :( )

I'm a big fan of Cafe Cortez @ El Cortez. Never had a bad meal there. Sometimes you want something not so fancy. I highly recommend the matzo ball soup, even when it isn't Passover.

Yeah Andiamo has a casual feel to it, even if it is somewhat upscale. Last time we were there, we sat next to Randy Couture and I think he was wearing a t-shirt. :peace:

Fantastic service, incredible food, and reasonable prices. I recommend it to everyone I know.

I wore jeans and a button up (untucked) and didn't feel out of place.
guy at the bar had a beanie and sunglasses on (the entire weekend.. I saw him everyday, same getup)!
anyway, I think you're good in most anything.
    food = great.

The Chicago Brewery in 4 Queens is yummy. Good skinny crispy fries, Great cheesesteak sandwich, very cheesy. Great draft beers and friendly service. I went a couple of nights and both bartenders/ waiters remembered my drinks. Wheat to start IPA for dessert.

I love Vic and Anthony's at the GN! Old style Vegas
booths, impeccable service and food! On their web site
they offer a print out coupon for a distinguished dinner:
$49 3 course lobster bisque, filet with au gratin potatoes ( don't miss having these; they're
awesome!), and dessert. Great deal! They also ship in some of best oyster
I've had. Business casual would work: collared shirt for guys, etc.

Vic and Anthony's, Andiamo or Triple George are all good choices. I will also throw in a vote for Carson Kitchen and La Comida.
